Atomizer question

I just got my first and had yet another question.

I watched Spikey's video and she said that when you get a new atomizer that you need to burn off the stuff on the atomizer.

Can tell me what it should look like when I'm done burning the gunk off?

Also is it safe to smoke with the stuff on the atomizer?

To burn anything off before using an e-cig...I do however drip 3 drops of some good tasting e-juice on the coil mesh before I hit it.
The stuff that the manufacturers use to prime the att. before shipping tastes pretty lousy in my oppinion as well as the stuff that comes in the carts.
So just drip a few drops of yer fav juice (assuming you have some ) and you'll be fine. If you don't have any bottled juice , get some. I would not (personally) use it if I didn't have some quality juice,but that's jus' me.
