Default First day...experiences and lessons

Hey y'all. I am a pack a day smoker for 19 years now (mar Lights) and I started e-smoking yesterday with my trusty Janty Dura-C. I ordered the standard starter kit with 2 batteries, 2 vaporizers and the 5 filters with RY4 I do believe (24mg). On top of that I got a 10 bottle of Cappuccino (11mg) and a 5 Pack carts prefilled (24mg) vanilla and a 5 pack of empties. Not a bad price compared to a carton on base here now costs 40 dollars.

Well I get up yesterday and put everything together using the 24mg Vanilla cart..and Bleh! Ok I forgot to do what Spikey told me and take a couple of purging puffs on the new vap. OK one lesson down. After a few hits I was not a fan of the vanilla flavor and as the day wore on I was enjoying it less and less. Even just taking a drag or three every half hour was causing my head to spin and my stomach to rock a little. I did not even kill the battery during the entire day. Going to bed last night I was not sure if this was for me or not.

I got up This morning and took one of my empties and dripped the Cappuccino into it with a paperclip to ensure I filled it properly. I hit my button and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The taste was amazing and the lower 11mg strength has yet to bother me today. I am vaping exactly like I was yesterday and hving a blast doing it. The experience is much improved. Now as I move on I am hoping that my experience stays great.

Heres hoping.

Stay strong. You may feel a little bit of withdrawl but dont be scared to vape more.At first it seemed like I was hitting it like a crack addict. But after 5 days or so I settled in nicely.

Glad you've made your start.....

You'll need about a week to adjust anyways. But for sure 11mg is more inline considering what you were smoking.

Just put the higher strengths aside for now and play with the 11mg for a few days. If that hits your satisfaction level, you can always delute your juice with some VG or PG to take the nic down. But remember the more you delute the less taste you'll get.

VapeOn,
Greg

Vanilla is a tough flavor. Not many can get a batch to taste right. We had a vanilla discussion in the DIY liquid section. Vanilla not gonna happen with safe available ingredients. Do your cappuchino and mabe pick up another flavor. Keep off those analogs. Your on the right path. Enjoy your Janty!

While I am at it what is RY4 supposed to be flavor wise?

I would order a Johnson Creek Starter kit if I were you...That things like a carnival of free stuff...Tweezers, droppers, sample flavors...gave me a taste of all the different flavors and I decided which ones I liked...Flavors are very wierd , in that everyones are different..I was a heavy menthol smoker, and now the menthol is one of my least favorite..well welcome and good luck..Thanks for your service to our Country

RY4 reminds me of cotton candy. But I think it may be caramel ?
It's good stuff!

My favorites (as well as quite a few members) is puresmoker's Riskee and Cola. The Riskee has a carmel/vanilla flavor and is similar to RY4 but I think it has more flavor than RY4. The cola actually does have a faint cola flavor.

My favorite tobacco flavor is EastMall's Kent flavor because it is smooth and not harsh.

You can actually buy just the flavorings from Liquidxpress and make your own liquid using unflavored juice.

The Johnson Creek juice is good.Im a fan of the Tenn Cured myself. But as suggested, buy a sample pack.
And your weapon of choice is great.I just got my Joye 510 (Dura C) and its a nice unit.
Much better than my RN4081 (Npro).
