Default I quit smoking Analogs!

Hi everyone, I quit smoking Analogs thanks to someone who showed me a good site to order from. Today's my first day with just vaping.
I have noticed an issue with one of my atomizers... thou.
I've been searching the forums and no luck. When I puff on the ecig I get the liquid every time, like it's not becoming vapor..... (bad taste) the other atomizer in my dse 901 does not seem to have the issue... Any suggestions to fix it?

maybe it's flooded, and the cartridge itself is also flooded? See if you can take out the cart part (just pull it off) from mouth-piece, wash and dry off. Also drain your atomizer after washing under running hot water and dry overnight.. see if that helps.

Congrats on quitting.

Are you dripping or refilling the carts with liquid?

I've had the same problem from overfilling the carts. I try to get as much liquid as I can in there.

Congratulations on quitting! Also, I noticed that I was getting liquid in my mouth too after topping off my carts. I believe that the problem was that 1) I was overfilling my cartridges, and 2) that I needed to prime my e-cig a few times before taking an actual drag right after filling to get the atomizer heated up and going good. I'm not sure if #2 was just due to the type of e-cig I have (penstyle), but after I figured these two things out, I pretty much quit having problems. But, I've already ordered a new style of e-cig (janty dura-c) so I'm sure I'll have some trial and error before getting the hang of that one too. Hope you figure out the balance, and good luck!

Congratulations!!

If you are getting liquid in your mouth a couple things are possibly happening. (you probably know some of these being a 901 user!)

If this is a new kit that you just started using, make sure the batteries are completely charged (12 hours seems to be the recommended initial charging period) otherwise the atomizer may not be getting enough power to vaporize all the liquid.

If you are using a prefilled or blank cart that you filled yourself, let it sit after placing it on the atomizer for a few minutes so that some of the juice wicks onto the atomizer coil.

If these are prefilled carts, it's possible they are overfilled ( some come that way). You can dab the end onto a napkin to wick some of the excess liquid away and give it another try.

If you are filling the carts yourself, you may have overfilled the cart. You can dab the end out onto a napkin to remove excess liquid.

If you are dripping onto the atomizer, a couple drops is best. Otherwise you can flood the atomizer which prevents it from getting hot enough or functioning at all. If this is the case simply disconnect the atomizer from the battery, remove the cart and blow into the battery end of the atomizer into a napkin to remove excess liquid. You may want to let it sit for a bit (cartridge side down) to let it dry out a bit and then try again.

It is an annoying problem and is normally something that can be corrected fairly easily. Sometimes a bad atomizer or battery is at fault. Without the proper power the atomizer doesn't heat up enough to actually cause the vapor and if the the atomizer is having issues it will not heat properly no matter what battery it is attached to.

Let us know your progress!

Thanks for the words of support.
I'm glad I joined the forums, you guys are great.
I think your likely right and I might have to much fluid in the cart.
I'll give these things a shot, I tried the second atomizer and it did the same thing with the cart for the first drag so again I think it's simply to full as I switched carts and it worked fine.

Now that question is out of the way, any tips on how to tell whens a good point to change carts?

Depends on who you ask - but I change it when the filler starts to lose its bouncyness. Say, 901, the filler probably is rolled up in S-shaped form. If the filler is filling up the cart well, then you are still god - but if that S starts to show up even when filled up... then try out new cartrige.

Somepeople have no problem for prolonged time - but I found myself that changing about once per week or two isn't a bad idea.

Of course, keep those old carts in a box - as they might come in handy later when you decide to drip & vape. Also, you can buy some fillings at local wal-mart and refill yourself.
