Ego / LR 510

Help!! i jus got a LR 510....like just got it 5 minutes ago. I have 3 of them. On an Ego, and when i vape on them, tastes like A*S like. some bad metal extremely burnt taste. I dont know if i am doing something wrong. i dont think so, ive been vaping for about a year now and i for the most part know what i am doing. I need some atty recovery suggestions!

Sounds like you are tasting atomizer primer that coats the atomizer when it comes from the factory. It is not a pleasant tasting substance by any means. Just make sure your atty is nice and wet, get 3 or 4 good drips on there, puff through the bad taste (shouldn't take more than 5 or 6 vapes) before your juice flavor starts coming through. Atty's go through a breaking in period, just hang in there with it, and make sure you keep that bridge wet. You an also blow out some of the primer buy taking off the cart and blowing into the mouth end while holding the battery end in a napkin. Give a few hard blows and that should blast out most of the primer. Drip a few drops on the atty bridge and you should be good to go after a few vapes.

Edit: I just noticed you said you've been vaping for about a year, so you should know all that already. You sure it's not just primer?

My guess is Lugnut is right on. Ah, vaping primer fluid. It's almost like a right of passage.

Ha. Well yeah. primer fluid is bad. But This is a horrible horrible flavor. I mean HORRIBLE. I have never had this problem with new attys before. I have no idea what is going on.

well LR's need to be wet.. and they tend to go through juice like crazy... you really can't use filled carts and should direct drip for the true LR experience.. not sure if that is your exact issue , but it is for most first time LR users
