I wonder if you just didn't get a bad ecig all together. I dunno. Youre juice does sound runny, but I really dont know...mine drips slowy, and sticks to my wool compleatly. ugh....Don't even get me started on batteries...I keep five on me at all times. I'm just that determined not to smoke tar ever again. I want it to work for you so you fall in love with it like I have! I am just that way...I get sad when people dont like them- even though I know they wont be for everyone. I will kiss my 901 and tell him that you didn't mean to hurt his feelings....

| What is so weird is that I got the burnt taste this morning.....immediately thought of you! Its the first time its happened- and the only thing I can think is its the wool, or whatever the stuffing is made of- getting to hot and scorching? I flipped my wool around and it went away. This is a new cart that was unfilled when I got it- do you use unfilled ones?

Yeah, empty carts. I don't know if I have it too close to the atomizer and it's scorching OR too far away and the atomizer is getting dry and giving me the gross taste. Did you figure out what was causing yours? | |

The problem as i read it is that you dont get juice flow to the coil although the cart has sufficient; this problem can occur with dripping too, and it's not because there is not enough juice but that the juice is not getting to the heater coil ... A certan draw force (strength of inhale) can be enough to activate the coil (light comes on and coil heats up) but not enough to draw droplets from the metal wicking mesh to the coil. That's what I think is happening. So, when you notice vapor trail off or burnt smell or running dry, try a more forceful inhale, even if briefly, followed by your usual inhale. You might well hear the short strong inhale pull some juice onto the coil. This is what is sometimes referred to as a 'primer puff'; for it to solve this particular issue it needs to be strong (usually by primer puff is meant pre-heating the coil, but in this case it is getting droplets of juice to the coil that is the aim). It generally needs a bit more force of inhale to get some juice onto the heater coil than to activate the coil and this is probably the reason for your experience. I find I need to do the short strong inhale every so often (about every third puff or so) with my 901s - and then all is well. Hope this helps ![]() Let us know if it does. |

The juice flows by itself to the sides of and behind the heater coil. It is drawing through theair that pulls little droplets of juice from behind the heater coil onto the coil. It needs a bit more strength of inhale to get that juice to the coil than it does to get the coil to activate. Try a short strong puff and then (after that) i hope you'll get clouds of fog. ps: you mean the liquid is in front of the coil - but i know it sounds odd even so; trust me, the juice first goes behind the coil and is then pulled by breath onto the heater coil. The juice is drawn into the atomizer automatically, but the last step - onto the heater coil - depends on you inhaling with sufficient strength (at least every so often). In time, you'll know just how hard to inhale and when, and it will become second nature. |

different atty, different batty, different cart, diff juice. Try everything and keep it wet, very wet. Once you get it right it is hard not to like.

Doc - true, but still needs sufficient inhale power to get the juice onto the coil. If the short strong inhale does not help, try dropping a few drips into the atomizer; wait a minute and try that. If it now works ok then the problem is that the cart is not properly contacting the 'metal bridge' inside the atomizer. In this case, try pulling out the cart material a little bit. |

This should be in the manual! My experience has just improved beyond measure. Is there a document somewhere that explains this sort of thing to new users? |
