    Default Storing eLiquid - Shelf-life?

I just got my first e-cig about two months ago. I picked it up on a road trip (in a truck stop somewhere, I think in Nevada) - it is an nJoy ePro, then my dad went into the hospital and since he couldn't smoke I picked up a Smoking Everywhere e-ciggerette (they appear to be indeticle and I think they are the same as a Vapor King judgeing by the photos).

I realized quickly that the cartridges were a rip off at the local store which charges $12.95 for 5 carts - so I found this forum and bought some eLiquid from theSmokelessShop.com - the nPro works 10x better with fresh eliquid drops.

Anyway - I have been seeing alot of talk about FDA bans etc. so I was thinking about stocking up on eLiquid and was wondering if anyone knew the shelf life of the liquid? Should I keep it in the fridge or is room temperature the same? Would it last for a year or more unopened?

The only place it can be safely stored is at my house.

My best e-juice e-liquid stash storage:

I top off the bottles and put in a small igloo cooler then place in the freezer for long term storage.

For long term storage, please keep your e-liquid in a dark cool place. The fridge (4 degree C) would be ideal. In addition, keeping it in an airtight container will also help. Bacteria needs both sugar and air to grow.

Good quality e-liquid should be CLEAR with no bits.

Every supplier (US and China) that I have asked this question of, stated that the shelf life should be 24 months. I WOULD NOT freeze it. And as DeKang (manufacturer) stated in the above post, 40 degrees F. So I would not get it too cold, either. I pulled out my rarely used vacuum seal machine and plan to vacuum seal my extra juice tomorrow.

Vacuum seal may be a good plan. I was disapointed when I found some of my 24mg juice stored in the ref a few months is now much weaker than fresh 24mg juice.
