    Default DSE 901 Carts

So Ive been vaping for about 4 weeks now and everything is going great except for one problem.

The carts on my DSE901 are still half full but I keep having to top off because it just doesnt seem to produce any vapor after the top filling is gone. Ive tried different atomizers, but im starting to think that this is just a normal problem with this model.

If anyone could shed any light on this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem until I switched to using tea filters instead of stuffing. There's a thread in the technical issues section of the forums on it, I think. Basically, take a tea bag or coffee filter, fold it accordion style, cut it to size, and put it into your mouthpiece. Then refill with your e-liquid.

This method really seems to work much better than the fluffy stuff that comes with your carts; it wicks perfectly and lasts longer for me than the other stuff ever did. Can't hurt to try!

Try taking a pair of tweezers and pulling the batting in the cartridge back up towards the top. If it gets too compressed it will not wick properly and you will have to top off constantly.

Also carts tend to stop wicking well after being refilled a few times. Try a fresh cart. If you want to get more life out of your cartridge you can remove the batting, squeezing the excess liquid out, rinsing it, and then letting it dry.

Another good method is to put the used cart filling in a syringe to squeeze the liquid out. Sometimes this works so well you don't even have to rinse the batting.
