A couple questions for you nice folk

I quit smoking a couple months ago because i really got committed to lifting weights and i felt it was interferring but i love smoking so much and i miss it dearly thank god i stumbled upon this site. A couple questions. Do you still feel that headrush when you smoke the e-cig? does it smell the same? does it burn your lungs a little bit when you inhale like a real cigarette? if i were to buy a mini one for 30-40 bucks or whatever how much would it cost per month to keep up with all the liquids and such? where would i buy the stuff i need to refill it or whatever. thanks.

Were are you located first of all- Second, don't buy a super mini as you'll most likely be dissappointed, even frustrated- the only super mini I would recommend if you have hte money is a loongtotem, but even htis isn't flavored very well, but it does produce the most vapor with the easiest draw- but again, it's expensive. One cartidge will last approx 15-20 hours, and an additional 10+ hours more with refilling- some are gettign quite a few days from just one cartridge.

The general recommendation is that you start with hte next size up- the mini, or the DSE 901 which you can get from various suppliers. It is great little vapor producer, but the cartridges are very small and only last a few cigarettes worth of puffing.

The nezt step up is hte penstyles- their cartridges last for hours usually I can make one go a whole day, but it's best to refill after you feel the cartridge is gettign a bit low- keep it wet.

Penstyles and the 901 will give a bit of kick to htroat and lungs- Ecigars give a bigger kick though- but hopefulyl we can find a good refilling juice that will kick like a mule in the near future

Forgot to say, I recommend gets a penstyle with 1 extra atomizer, and the 901 mini. with cartridges for both. Maybe a little juice too to top off those cartridges, makes them last longer and gives you extra vapor. I am a vapor junkie.
That would be my shopping list as a new e-smoker.

I get no buzz from the e-cig I have a pen style and am awaiting a mini.
The Buzz I do get is from stopping normal fags 2 weeks.

Steve don't go for the one that looks like a cigarette most newbies make this error and are disappointed because it doesnt deliver !
go for a mini dse901 preferably this will be the closet to a cigarette for you because it sounds like you like the kick at the back of the throat and plenty smoke like a cigarette.
the 901 is only slightly longer and bigger than a cigarette but is a good performer many newbies buy the one that looks like a cigarette and are disappointed and give up on e-smoking because of poor performance !

Hey Steve,

Its all a matter of preference. Some people get a HUGE buzz from E-cigs, and others don't. Kit happens to fall in the "no buzz" category, but there are plenty of members that do. If you are mainly going for the buzz, you probably want to get the highest nicotine content possible. Most cartridges go up to 18mg, while Johnson Creek Smoke Juice goes up to 24mg. Its all about trial and error with ECigs. What may work for 1 person, may not work for you and vice versa.

Good luck hunting down that perfect e-cig, it can be quite fun!

Welcome aboard. IMO there are two primary chemical reactions you experience when you smoke a tobacco cigarette. The first one, I call the "hit", is the nicotine's effect on the brain -you'll get this hit from both tobacco cigarettes and e-cigs. The second one, which I call the buzz, is a slight lightheadedness caused by the carbon monoxide produced when tobacco is burned. You won't experience this effect as e-cigs neither contain nor burn tobacco. Hope this helps and good luck with your choice.
