Question New..Hello...Can Anyone Help Me Out?

Hi everyone....thanks SO much for this forum and wow, the e cig seems like a TRUE godsend! I want to order a kit and, after checking out GrimmGreen's (hi GRIMM, love your reviews), I would like to purchase 2 kits. First off, the 801 Pen Classic Pen Style that he said gave him his best vaping experience. e smokey treats has a classic pen style but it's an RN4072 and i think i'm looking for a DSE 801? Can't seem to find one, who could recommend a great company? Heaven Gifts look good but don't see an 801 there.

Also, want to get the DSE 901 but apparently the battery life sucks?

I love smoking, don't want to give it up but it's obviously ruining my health. looking for good vapour and throat hit. vaping seems like THE ticket. i can't believe (or can i) the FDA wants to prohibit it's use and yet....tobacco cigs FINE. bloody hell. i signed a petition anyway.

i'm in canada (calgary) and i don't think this will affect us if the FDA goes prohibition but still, whatever the USA does, Canada seems to be not far behind. i won't speil on about prohibition but it's WRONG.

so, cheers everyone and all comments are greatly appreciated. i would like to order a kit like YESTERDAY.

eastmall has the dse801 and the dse901

edit: but if you want it yesterday, not a good choice due to ship time.

Hi Scarlet, I have been tobacco free since April 8, thanks to the ecig. It is truly an amazing gadget! I am on my third model and have finally found what works for me! I am using the Janty Stick and I also use an 801 penstyle. I have had really great luck with Parker at Dietsmokes.com. He has some great video reviews of some of the models and has always answered all of my emails and questions. Check out some of his reviews, he is honest. But there are sooooo many great sellers and really nice people here on this forum too.

Regardless of who you buy from just get a quality e cig. Buying cheap generic models leads to frustration. Dont be afraid to check out the reviews and ask questions. Read, read, read. I am sure you will find the perfect one for you!

I thought I would never be able to quit tobacco after many unsuccessful attempts at quiting. I feel great. Just do it!!

ps. I dont know which suppliers ship to Canada, be sure and ask.

    Hey scarlet,

Welcome to ECF!! If I understand correctly, your customs is a bear, so you would be better off buying from someone in Canada. I read where shipments coming into Canada, even the smallest of parcels, are being returned to the shipper.

Also, the 4072 is most likely the clone of the 801. The 4075 is the clone of the 901. I prefer the DSEs to the clones but that is simply my preference. There are alot of people who prefer the clones over the original. It is all about your personal preferences.

Like happily said, you probably would have better results checking in the Canadian members forum area. Here is the link to it: Canadian Members - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

Best of luck and be sure to keep us posted.

Hi Scarlet, I feel I need to clarify what I meant about "buying generic". I am sure there are many good generics out there too. What I meant was: when I first started with the e-cig, my reasoning was to buy a cheap one in case I didnt like it. Well I bought the cheapest I could find and I didnt like it. It did not work well or for very long.
I had a supplier point me to this forum and I read other's experiences and realized that not all e-cigs worked poorly!! DOH!

I also didnt think about the customs thing. I ship to Canada often (artwork) and didnt have a prob. but am sure e-cigs may be a different matter.

I am so thrilled that I am off tobacco I want to encourage others to try. I smoked for 35 years and I think this e-cig is amazing!

If you want a pen style, I'd recommend the M201 over the DSE801, even though they look identical, and carts from the 801 can be used on the M201.
    In the US:
    LITECIG USA
    outside (from mfgr)
    http://www.absolutelyecigs.com

I did a vid review on the M201 here: (had not yet confirmed it IS different vs DSE801, now have DSE801 as well, M201 > DSE801 for me..)
    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...-penstyle.html

and another user, FigureHead, did one here:
    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...ew-finaly.html

I need to do an update on the M201, but I'm very happy with it. Right now, it, the 510, and occasionally the M401 or EVO are my 'always in use' e-cigs.
Current vapes: GG Transformer, PS PT, 510/Dura/Titan/Yeti, M201, Greencig G300, M401/Pilot/Evo
