Is this how an ecig is supposed to taste???

I just received my red bull and melon from cigtechs.com and I cut it down using some Wiltons glycerine and a couple drops of water to thin out the glycerine. I must say, without having cleaned the atomizers, I can already taste a difference.

I am going give my attys a proper and in depth cleaning to make sure, but I think i'm on the right track. I will let y'all know!

It's the juice man. Send it back to the supplier you got it from. I've had this problem awhile back.

I can definitely say that the 510 produces a warmer vapor with more throat hit that tends to wash out the flavor of my ejuices. Most of the fruity ones taste better in my 901. I tend to stick with tobacco flavored juices or stronger fruit flavors like peach or mango. The more subtle ones are best enjoyed through a 901 or an 801 IMHO.

I use a 901, and sometimes I think that I taste the flavors too much! I got a bottle of the "perfumy" chocolate from one supplier (made me want to throw up), so I can totally identify with the disgust you are going through -- as I thought that I would never get that taste out of my atomizer!

As to Nuvape -- I just got my Nuvape order today -- I didn't find anything perfumy or odd with my Nuvape flavors, but then again I purposely went with flavors that I thought would be NON-sweet.

(Excuse the spelling here, as I am going to spell the flavors as they list them)
I got their Camul - 0mg, Almond- 0mg, Almond- 24mg, Hiltun-6mg. Out of these flavors the Camul has the most taste and vapor. The Almond in both mg's pretty much has next to no flavor (not always a bad thing, but it is pretty boring), and the Hiltun doesn't have a lot of flavor either (also pretty boring). I usually vape 24mg - 36mg, but I am trying to find a good low mg vape.
Personally, I am thinking that all of these will be perfect "morning" vaping favorites, and also good flavors to add a drop or two of stronger flavors to.

I know that some x-smokers have had a time delay in their taste buds and sense of smell coming back in full force -- I was not one of those -- as I never seemed to have lost either ... it sounds like maybe you are not one either. So, maybe you need to start out mild and add flavor as needed.

My personal favorites are from esmokeyshack.com -- his Flue Cured (24mg) and Coffee (24mg).

You may need to use cola to soak out the bad taste. I wish I knew what ingredient makes the awful smell and taste! To some people it's perfumy and to others it's just nasty, kind of reminds me of old moth balls or something I can't quite put my finger on.

At first try the intended taste came through weakly, but after a few hits the nasty comes through strong and it only gets worse from there.

I did complain to the vendor and he replaced the order with tobacco flavors of the same value ($60) at no additional cost to me. The vendor is great, but he got a bad batch of flavored juices.

If anyone ever figures out what substance is responsible for the bad smell and taste I sure would like to know what it is.

Hey bud were did you get your 510 from; i just ordered a 510 titan from totally wicked and was told it worked fine by other members.

No kidding, I just sent an email, so I'm sure we'll get them replaced. I think I will just ask him to swap them for unflavored or just tobacco. I have never been a non-menthol smoker, and after all the posts I've read, I don't want to vape menthol if it just tastes like mint mouthwash. We'll see.

The 510 absolutely tastes like bunk, no matter what juice you use. It tastes like it's burning plastic or something, which I am pretty sure is NOT healthy.

The stick just kicks A** tastes great and makes more vapor than I can handle.

I am still not off the dino cigs but it's pretty close. I really like the form factor on the 510 but I think there must be a lot of different atomizers and some of them are putting out the burnt taste.

I have used a bunch of different juices through both and the stick never tastes burnt.....

It might be primer in the atomizer.................sometimes it can take an atomizer a few days to "break in" properly. Do not give up on it yet, the 510 is really a good unit.
