Default Bought a clearomizer for my Ego to use when im driving..... Does not perfrom as expected... please recommend an atty.

I use a 306 LR atty when I'm at home or at work. I need to find a good atty that I don't have to drip while driving. I use 11mg, pg based, cappuccino flavor. The clearomizer I'm using now works but it doesn't get the throat hit or taste I'm looking for. Thanks

What PV are you using it on and what is the resistance of the clearo? How much vapor are you getting? Any burnt taste?

    WELCOME TO THE ECF

Do you have anything against cartomizers? If not then you can try either a Boge LR 2 ohm carto or a Smoketech XL LR 1.7 ohm single coiled cartomizer. Those two give good flavor and everything else. You can also use them in a carto tank as well.

Second the Smoketech XL LR 1.7 ohm single coiled cartomizer. Love 'em - trouble free and easy.

I have no idea what cartomizer it is.I'm still new to the game. I went into Vapure ( Local San Diego store) and was recommended the atty to use when I'm driving. It does not get a burnt taste. The only problem is it just started to leak and it doesn't seem to be putting out enough vapor. The vapor doesn't seem as hot as dripping.

Rather then explaining it. Here's a visual representation of what a cartomizer looks like on the inside except for the filler material:

If your going for a boge LR then your going to have to drip 25 drops/1ml and letting it rest for 20-30 minutes. It's best to carry a few of them around to rotate them during use.

Unless your using a bottom feeder. Then dripping and driving is not recommended. It's worse then using a cell phone in terms of a distraction. So, a cartomizer or a carto tank would be best for you:

LR Chibi Tank Mod (boge 2.0)

*You do need a small syringe to fill them but, it comes with a free pre-punched cartomizer and it's real affordable. This is great in terms of convenience since you don't have to top it off.

If your really interested in wanting an atomizer for dripping at home then here's my suggestions:

    http://www.avidvaper.com/products/LR...-Spec%29.html3

You'll need a drip tip with that:
    XL306 Contoured LR306 Delrin® Drip Tip - Avid Vaper

    IKV 510 LR Atomizer 1.8

This is how to use an atomizer:

    1. When you take it out of the package. Drip 6 drops in it to let it saturate the wick, coil, and mesh inside of the atomizer.
    2. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
    3. Drip 3 drops after every 5-8 hits. The signs that you should drip again is that you will notice a drop in flavor. If you taste a very slight metallic flavor then drip 3 drops. Since the next hit is going to be BAD.

    Hope that all helps.

+1 to everything washvap said. Cartos are great, and a carto tank will give you liquid capacity for a long drive.
