Default HELP! Newbie needing websites & more detail.

So I've spent HOURS reading the forums trying to decide what is best for me. I'm 40 years old, have been smoking for 25 years and smoke Marlboro Ultra Lights, 1-1.5 packs a day. So much of what I read are abbreviated words/meanings/names that make zero sense to me. So here are my questions:

Ego: Is that the style or brand? I ran a google search and came up with a million things. What is the company name and Ego style AND website I can go to and order the best one? I don't understand the different types. I'm looking for something that has great, smooth flavors with a long battery life. Cheap is good of course. Nothing too complicated.

Analog: (finally figured out you guys mean a real cig LOL) Also looking for this style as well to use in more public places. I've been reading the 510, KR808 & Boge KR8 are the best. But what does that mean? Are those the company names? Cigarette style?, etc. Again, looking for good flavor choices that are smooth with the longest battery life. If you can give me a website to go to and exactly what I should be looking for, that would be great. Don't mind having to change batteries when I'm at a bar or something. But sounds like the Ego would be more difficult in a public place to refuel since I have to add my own juice?

I just started eCigs 5 days ago. Cheapo from the gas station. Harsh on my throat but I haven't touched an anolog since. I know that I need to find a good eCig that looks like a real one and also am interested in getting an Ego. The one I have now is dead after a couple hours of use. Dont' want to buy more batteries until I find the right choice of eCig for me.

So websites where I can buy these two types would be great. Actual company and model names would be great since I don't understand if ego, 510, KR808 & KR8 are styles or brands or Company names, etc. And for the Anolog looking ecigs, of the three, which would be best for this 1-1.5 a pack/day smoker.

Sorry if this is a post that seems like others. But I found no where that actually said: This is the website to go to. This is the brand, this is the name, this is the model, etc. I'm just seeing abbreviated language that I don't understand yet. I need direction and hope I explained what I was looking for good enough. =)

Thank you to anyone that can help! =)

Ditto for the above. Also, click on the Forum Supplier button and it'll take you to websites with all that you need and more. I have both Volt and V4L. (KR808) I like BOTH!! I prefer the V4L as it doesn't have a cut off time, but I like the Volt for smoothness. Good luck in your search and congrats for being analog free for so long! I remember being there too.

Welcome to ECF & congratulations on your success! You ask great questions.

Ego is a style rather than a brand as is the 510's & KR808. You can get what you need from forum suppliers on this site, but I am going to just post a few to give you sites to go to. Most anything you start with will be better than gas station ones. You can upgrade anytime you want. Ego is a great device to keep you content for a while.

    G6 Basic Starter Kit - G6 E-Cig KR808
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Firefly EGO 510 compatible
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 same
Ikon 3.7V battery - IkenVape Store

All of these companies have juices and necessary attpmizers or cartomizers.

Ask any questions you need & feel free to PM me if you have a question I can help you with.

My wife chose the Yeti from Altsmoke to start with, has a omega now from Altsmoke. I started with the Omega. She liked the Yeti due to it being like a analog. Check out the Altmoke forums or their website. Superb customer support!!!

    Welcome to ECF.

510 and KR808 are threading types. This will be important when you start buying bits and pieces that are compatible with your ecig.

You would not have to refill your Ego when you are out and about if you used cartos (cartomizer). You could carry several cartos with you and then just screw in a new one. Depending on type/brand they are anywhere to an inch to an inch and a half long.

If you put your cursor on anything that is underlined, it will tell you what it is.

Use the ECF search engine to find threads on any models you are interested in.

Some of the slim ecigs are Volt and 510 (in this case that's a model).

Some ecigs that are about the size of a sharpie and that will have long battery life (you want at least 1000 mah) are Ego, Kgo, and Riva. These are brands.
You can buy the Kgo here
KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit
    or here
    SLB KGO Starter Kit

If you choose to use Google instead of the ECF search feature, put ecig after whatever you are searching for and it will give you the ecig websites at the top of the results.

So, you've read the Best E-Cigarette for a New User and need more detail. Cool, that's what folks do here.

I see that you have concern with filling it up with liquid. Which shouldn't be an issue. If you can hit the eraser of a pencil with a drop from a eye dropper bottle while holding the dropper against the pencil eraser, you can refill things. Plus you can fill things before you head out the door so you have extra to twist on.

Might want to familiarize yourself with the various parts. An eGo is the brand Joye's version of a longer lasting battery and they come in a few different types of starter kits. Obviously the battery is attached to a charger for charging. For vaping it can be connected to an atomizer or a cartomizer. An atomizer needs another part, called a cartridge, to feed it juice if you do not wish to drip each drop of juice into it yourself. Carts, short for cartridges, can be prefilled before heading out the door. Cartos, short for cartomizers, do not need another part as they combine the cartridge and the atomizer into one unit. These can be filled before heading out the door.

https://www.cignot.com/category_s/23.htm has eGo kits, but it looks like they do not have the type that contain the cartomizers as part of the kit. They do have Joye cartomizers though https://www.cignot.com/Joye_510_cart...10-cro-blk.htm...

As you have noticed, there are many options out there. I'm sure there will be others along that will have even more for you to consider.

eGo is a brand. There are several places you can order them.
Here's a link to the cheapest I've found in a quick search.
    http://www.ecigexpress.com/joye-ego-...ct-color-p-805
The 510, 808's are referring to the thread. They are not interchagable, so whatever you decide on is what type of thread designation you want to say with in regards to cartomizers. The eGo link I've posted is a 510 thread design, which is very popular.
You probably should pick up some cartomizers while you're ordering. You can buy those at this same link. I'm referring you here because I use this vender alot myself. With the eGo I have, I order cartomizers with the 1.5 ohm resistance, 510 threading.
I can't recommend any 808's or auto small ecigs, but I'm sure others will come on here with more info on those for you.
Oh, and you can order ejuice at ecigexpress also. I would suggest ordering the smallest size they have until, you find what flavors you like. You either drip the juice in the atomizer (if you opt that route), or take the plastic cap off the cartomizer and drip along the sides until it looks kind of like a slushy.
