Well mine has a three hole punch,it's not Bieng covered by the grommet,I let it sit overbite the first night I got it,what you do to take it apart is to push the carto from the top.both the grommets are going to pop out though.what I found helpful when putting the grommets back on is to put one grommet on the bottom and put it back into the tube then put the top one on whiled holding the bottom in.

These are the first tanks I've ever used/had. How are you supposed to take 'em apart?

Just shove the battery side up through- shoves everything out. Psuardo was doing a first time for him change. I think he did it the Really hard way!

I've found that the larger-non boge carto don't work well. I put the little boge in the big tank- it fits.

You can get a hole punch that will do varying degree's of holes, but Ive not done it so I really can't speak to how it works.

There are a few carto puncher on the market right now you might want to consider some of it. Or you could google how some ppl slot/punch their cartos
