On a side note, my provari shipped yesterday so i hope from next week i will be in vaping paradise!
Although I've never used a Provari, I'm sure it'll put the Ego to shame and I'm willing to bet the Boge cartos will work great with it.

Maybe cause it has more capacity it can draw more power? Dunno...and i dont have a bigger battery here now. We will see when the Provari gets here.

I agree also use mine at 4.7, they don't work well on ego at least with my experience.

Isnt 4.7 and 5 volts a bit too much for 1.5ohm cartos??

I am convinced there is a bad batch of Smoktech DCC's floating around, I seem to get 2 good ones out of a pack of 5 lately. I actually take a needle and gently poke around the pre drilled hole to make sure the material inside is not too tightly packed. I will slot some of them as well, or just increase the size of the hole. As has been said above 3.3 volts is not where you want to be on a DCC. I love vaping with them on my EVO at 4.7 volts, the higher Amperage of the EVO really pushes the coils and makes for a fantastic vape

Well when i am wrong i will say i am wrong......Earlier today i got a 3ml smoktech DCT, put the juice in and primed the cart the same way i did with the the 6ml DCT i have. I am glad to say that it was DOA. Sure it made some wonderful smoke, but it was the poly fill burning and seems that it was just dumping the juice down my battery (go me)
I will be ordering a 5 pack of coils from Happy Vaper and hoping that i have better luck.
so there....i admitted it, i was wrong
I've reached that age where my brain went from You probably shouldn't say that to What the hell let's see what happens

Hey! I myself started off w/ a joyetech ego-c. & its still the only setup I own, & use) -Though its a vv "twist". & Im SOOO GLAD I went w/ my "gut instinct. & ignorred (wht I thought was) my "better judgement". Even after I WAS TOLD by the shopkeep, that it wouldnt make a noticable difference, & was "unnecessary" expense when purchising my start up kit. & BOY; was HE WRONG!! Not to mention its only like a $5-$10 upgrade. & I figured the risk was outweighed by the possibilities/advantages, in which a vv battery JUST MIGHT enhance my vaping exp!-& it DEFFINATALLY HAS!!

If its the smoktech DCT then its the DC carto style that comes with the tank causing the airy draw. i have several different styles of carto tanks and only the smoketech DC carto has given me the airy draw. Switch to a different brand of carto (i recommend Boge). As long as the xl carto doesn't have that bottom "plate" on it it should be alot better!

Although, I am also starting to "try out" dif. Carto setups w/ my 3.5ml tank. So far Ive only used/tried a cple dif. variations with my smoktek DC-Cartos. I started w/ 1.5ohms, w/ 3 holes, & I like that set up ok. I just recently bought a 5pk, all w/ 2 holes.-2 of them are 1.25's, which seems to perform alittle bit better w/ possibly alittle more flavor-Though I DO think I favor 3 holes, since I hvnt had many problems w/ leaking, & such. --ALTHOUGH-- I REEALLY CANT give a true evaluation, since I have only had them 1 full day. & hv only had the chance to try out the 1.25 w/ 1 familiar liquid, & 1 new flav.. But I think Im getting a slightly better vape w/ that juice, using a 1.25ohm, vs a 1.5ohm. If ANYONE out there can relate, or varrify this PLEASE LET ME/US KNOW!!! THANX ALOT!! ALSO, Im currious to know, & hear, what you think is the ABSOLUTE BEST SETUP, for flavor & such, with a VV joyetech ego-c twist. Also, what you know, what you think(ur review), & your opinions ON the joyetech ego-c twist! I greatly appreciate any comment or replys. Thanx Again!

The 1.5ohm DCC has two 3ohm coils, so no 4.7 isn't too much
I equate trying to use a DCC on an eGo to trying to drive a spike with a tac hammer.
