First Day on 901

Just got my 901 last night and put the first battery on the charger overnight. Got to work this morning, put the second battery on the charger and started experiementing with vapping.

I really like it, but....

1) I wanted to see if I liked it and really got after it. The vaper started getting noticably weaker in about two hours.

2) Battery started flashing that it needed to recharge in three hours

3) had to top off the cart at the 2 hour mark.

Am I attacking this thing too heavily???? I think it is just great!

I went out side to have an analog after putting the first battery back on the charger (don't want to use the 2nd bat until its been charging for at least 10 hours) and the Salem just tasted like crap!!!!!

Any suggestions, observations, concerns or advice?????

Mr. Holmes:
1)As the battery starts to lose it's charge vapor production will lessen as well,or the cart might be in need of topping off

2)3 hours is typical for an auto 901 battery

3)Topping the cart off at the 2 hour mark is normal or slightly better depending on how much you are vaping during that time

8 hours should be sufficiant time to charge a new 901 battery.....and 3 hours on each charge after that...keep your eyes on the light on the charger. And take things slow if you are just starting out.Some people have a hard time putting down the analogs right away when they first start vaping.Good Luck!The Wiz!

Congrats on getting the 901. I really like mine, though I have ordered a battery mod since batteries do seem to be the biggest issue that is easily solvable with e-cigs/PVs.

Did you fully charge your 1st battery before using it, or was it charged when you got it and you used it right after the package? If you used it right off the bat it may have lost some of it's charge in all of the time between when the supplier charged it and when it arrived at your home. If you charged it fully and it only lasted 2 hours you should contact your supplier and see about getting a replacement. Most suppliers have at least a 2 week return policy.

Two hours is a long time for it to last without a top off. I usually top mine off every hour and that's with using the Pyramid Tea Bags to stuff the cart and they wick liquid better to the atomizer than the stuffing that comes in the carts. When I was using the original stuffing I topped off every 30 mins or so. Thankfully topping off takes very little time or effort so I don't really use any more time than I did hunting for my lighter when I smoked analogs . Look at the threads about different methods of stuffing and filling the carts and try a few until you find the one that works best for you. One of the biggest things about really enjoying PVs is finding the little things that make it work best for you. For me that has been switching to Pyramid Tea Bags and adding a couple drops of Glycerin to the cart or to the liquid I'm using. For others, it might be completely different.
