I use Dekang liquids every once in awhile, their cream was my fav flavor for a few months. Tho I will admit, I had stomach issues when I vaped it so I don't use it anymore

But I don't have a problem with chinas products, ever heard of apple?

That's what I mean. That's perfectly cool. I'll assume you're under no delusions that your juice's nicotine, and probably it's PG, came from an American lab. If you buy USA juice to support a local economy, that's perfectly valid and rational. If you think it's necessarily any safer, you're only fooling yourself.

When they quit thinking a PV is an electric cigarette, they'll quit treating us like smokers and calling vapor smoke. Best not to vape what looks like a cig. or use the word e-cigarette among the uninitiated. Vaporizers are "e-cigarettes" like electric toothbrushes are e-carrots.

I can fully understand that position. Big difference between that and one being safer than the other. I do the same thing when possible although my head tells me it probably makes little difference in the world economy.

Off topic: I can't help but reading your nick as "faʉ - vɛ" (like the German car manufacturer) ever since you gave me some of the first good advice I got in my first thread on this forum. Just a funny fact.

Most of my juice is imported from my kitchen.

My WTA juice is a custom blend from Vapelicious.

I have issues when "supporting my local economy" means paying 50-100% more for a product. I would do just as well to give that extra money to a local charity or homeless person, than to a local "vendor".

If the media goes with "E-cigarettes are not safe. In fact, our investigation discovered an earth shattering truth! Stay tuned and prepare to be blown away! " And after the break "Most e-cigarette components and the so called e-liquid they use are imported from CHINA"-- that would actually have the desired impact

My point is that, in spite of what we know or believe to be true, we should expect people like Saw Tooth to hold a pre-conception that Chinese liquid is unsafe. Of course we should try to share what we think is right with her, but accusing her of undermining the vaping community with her expected preconception... that's a little harsh, don't you think?
I also believe that the original post was just stating an unknowing fear based on media hype in the last few years, nothing more. It's just that most new people will not understand all the issues facing the vaping community and how we need to be aware of those powerful interests opposing this community. Not to mention that there is no basis for that fear. My reaction or over-reaction was due in part to seeing this type of post/thread, especially in the new members section, for about the 50th time.

When I think of "Made in America"... I think of big tobacco adding ammonia to cigarettes so the chemicals in the smoke cross the blood brain barrier faster and increase my addiction...

ETA: Add FSC chemicals to that.
