Direct dripping with an eGo-C

Since I've already got batteries and juices, I think my direct drip shopping list should include:

510 or 306 attys
510 or 306 drip tips
A drip shield (optional but advisable)

Is there anything I'm forgetting or should consider in addition?

You can buy drip tip made for ego cone, and then open egoc atty head (remove the spike part) and drip on that. However, I never had much luck with it. It just doesn't work all that well.

What is it about that arrangement you find doesn't work well?
I've removed the spike and dripping on the coil seems to work OK.

I bought a 510 atomizer so I could drip. It works great ! But I do tend to dry hit it so. Have to drip a fees times during session to get my fix. I tend to like tanks more than dripping, I drip when I make my own juice or I bought a new juice that I don't know if I like it yet
