    Default Simple Mixing Maths.....

Ok I know we have calculators and stuff, just wanted to ask some simpler questions.

I have a bottle that holds 150 drops.

I have a VG flavor liquid thats 24mg (Energy Kick)
    I have pure VG

Now I add 100 drops of VG flavor Energy Kick to the bottle
Now I add 50 drops of pure VG

Result is I now have a bottle with VG Flavor Energy Kick 16mg ?

    1/3 of 24mg will be 8mg so 24-8 = 16mg.

    Is this correct ?

    Yes.

    I think of it as 2/3 x 24 = 16.

The math is correct, although this is an approximation, at best, because the size of a drop varies.

A syringe is strongly recommended because even a pipette leaves liquid clinging to the walls unless you wait for it all to drain down to the bottom.

VG is very hard to pass through a normal dropper and nearly impossible to draw through a needle. I'm not sure how difficult it is to get a syringe where you live but it is worth the effort to get one. Most pharmacies sell them cheap although not in all countries. Veterinarians may also have them available. They are also available at most e-cig vendors.

    Enjoy!

    Thanks,

Yes, I'm using a dropper and it is kind of dodgy with the VG. A syringe.. of course. It'd need to have a good head on it though. Will look into that. Thanks for the tip.

So yes the flavor drops. Not that energy kick has much flavor but more of a smack to the throat hit.

Reason I ask is I ordered a bunch of flavors at 24mg. Some are good but some really are too strong.

Wanted to VG it down to make the juice last longer.

So I may add flavors to the 1/3 if it's something thats tasteless.

Say 10 drops of the 50 drops of VG could be strawberry concentrate/mint ect ect.

Ok just done it with the energy kick and it's just right now. So that worked.. It actually tastes better.

Just done the strawberry also and that worked but less flavor..

Onto the cappuccino.. yup thats fantastic.

You might want to get an oral syringe with a tapered stopper / bottle adapter such as this one: Walgreens.Oral Syringe | Walgreens

It works great at drawing stuff from bottles and it prevents all kind of messes. VG doesn't agree well with needles of any gauge, it feels like trying to draw in cement...

Tip: place a piece of clear tape over the grading of any syringe, otherwise it will fade very quickly when exposed to e-liquids.

I also use the Oral Syringe for measuring and it's great. It also has other uses in the world of vaping. As posted remember to protect the numbering otherwise will be erased. About$2.00. You could also buy the same juice ( same PG/ VG ratio and same flavor) in 8 mg and mix equal quantities with the 24 mg resulting in 16 mg
    Good Luck.
P.S. Sounds like you're ready for DIY juice

Oh, well. You're right actually. The cement thing happens when I try to draw into a syringe larger than ~ 10 ml. With a 1 ml syringe it's easy, then it gets harder with larger ones. It may be just me, though...
