Default 9 days in and still smoking one analog per day

This is my 9th days in. I am enjoying my Volt and vaping in general. However I still find myself smoking that one analog at night time. I'm a drinker and maybe that is the reason I am craving the analog at night? But last night I finished my pack that I had when I started vaping. So I am going to try go without buying another pack of cigs.

Did anyone else have a similar experience? And how long was it before you craved the occasional analog?

9th day huh? Still smoking huh? Wow!

Sucks to me normal doesn't it . I smoked and vaped for MONTHS personally. I didnt' let it get to me. I just woke up one day and realized I hadn't smoked an analog in who knew how long!! Don't beat yourself up (I"m a night time toddy drinker too, ESPECIALLY after a long day at work!), you'll stop smoking when you are ready. Have you thought about a different style of PV? I see you have the volt, which is a very good cig look alike. Perhaps a stronger PV with a stronger Nic juice would help too. Some things to think about!

I STILL crave the occasional analog. I even TRY to smoke one occasionally, but they are just plain NASTY tasting to me so ugh!!! Give me my chocolate, gummy bear, banana etc any day over that! I can actually toss a mostly whole analog out after taking a puff or two. IMAGINE that!! Still blows ME away too LOL

Thanks. I have been thinking about possibly getting a bigger PV. I like the Volt for daytime and to keep in my pocket at work. But may want something bigger to keep at home. Any good suggestions? I would want something easy (VV may even be unneccesary for me). Something to get good vapor and TH.

I was the same way, except my one analog was in the morning. I did that for about 2 weeks, and then one morning I decided to tough it out. And haven't had one since. 3 months now.

I was getting urges for an analog for about 2 months, but less and less. You have to give an ecig a chance when you have an urge. An ecig takes more puffs to satisfy the urge then an analog. So you just need to tough it out for those extra 60 - 90 seconds.

Anyways that's how I looked at it, and it worked for me.

    Good luck!

Hello! The body needs time to adapt. In most cases 1-2 weeks pass before there will be new habits. And cigarettes are just nasty taste.
At the beginning of better use of the e-liquid with the strength of 12-18 mg / ml. Further strength can be gradually reduced.
    Good luck and sweet vapor!

OMG Km you have just let the proverbial cat out of the bag with THAT question ROTFL. If you are COMFORTABLE with the round style, and you don't need the VV (which honestly I can pretty much gaurantee your going to want to TRY VV cause we ALL do it's just a matter of time) the choices are frankly to many to put into one thread!!!!

For you though, I would SUGGEST and ego or a Kgo. These are about the size of a sharpie pen, a bit heavier than the Volt, and they can use cartomizers too. They have the addes benifit of using atomizers if you learn to drip, to either test juices on, or give yourself one hellva jolt of nic :0).

If your asking MY personal preferences, I'm a bottom feeder JUNKIE. Bottom feeders have anywerhe from 3 to 6 mils of juice in a bottle that you squeeze (we call it squanking, don't ask) and this sends juice into the carto or atty from UNDERneath. Talk about a lazy method /grin

Just look at my sig line :0). Hog's are beautiful wooden handmade bottom feeders. The Reo's are....well they are just TOUGH. There are video's out there for folks dropping their Reo's from heights that would make YOU go splat! I've seen a vid of someone running over one with their Jeep LOL. Tough little buggers, but spendy up front, even used. I personally take a Reo outside the house to work. Can't kill em and I"m a clutz, if it's in my hand it will eventually hit the floor, concrete, road..

In the end what you end up LIKING, well that's going to be like your juice. What I like you might not and back the other ways!

Some quit smoking immediately whil others tapered off. I read of some here smoking and vapoing for upwards of 1 yr so it's no biggie. Realize the first 2 weeks we are in withdrawal from the tobacco alkoids, a substance not found in regualr juice. I really don't believe you need it yet BUT WTA juice can be now purchased. I would wait at least another week...did I forget to tell you...Congrats on only smoking 1 analog per day as that's amazing progress and you should be VERY proud.
Any good suggestions? I would want something easy (VV may even be unneccesary for me). Something to get good vapor and TH.
Unless your problem is battery life I wouldn't suggest an upgrade UNLESS it's to a variable volt PV. The Volt is a great PV and if you find you're needing more vapor and/ or throat hit I would either look at changing the juice or using lower res. cartos- lower res will give a warmer vape.
    Good Luck and again, congrats.

I did the same thing for a couple of years after I started vaping. Lots of people keep the coffee and after meal cigs for a long time after vaping and finally give them up. You may just find out that you never needed those last few once you decided to quit them. When I dropped the last 6 or 8 a day nothing happened. I didn't have cravings and didn't miss them, I just quit and never looked back. It's mostly just a repetitive mental habit once you get down to the last few.

One cigarette per day is quite an accomplishment. Congrats!

I don't think I could smoke only one cigarette per day.....
