Ya need to puff harder, smoke more, and drip like a fiend, then, no problema, you will get a cleaning cycle.

Alot of people have report sucess with steam cleaning - I pickup a steamer at a 2nd hand store yesterday and steam cleaned both my atomizers and WOW it worked really great and tasted better too.
Some people have used one called a penguin - Mine is a shark bottle steamer.

    See here.

I paid alot less $7.95 at Goodwill

Oh yeah - hold on to the atomizer with a hot pad that stam is real HOT.

a little tip regarding the cleaning cycle.. when it happens re-prime your atomizer directly..

three or four drop straight into the atomizer will do this.. its not the perfect answer but it helps get rid of the nasty taste as quickly as possible..

Thanks Madog, I'll look into that. And Trog, which end do you mean? I've got a 901 which has a small hole where the battery goes or the cart end? I want to be ready because it seems to happen every other time I change the battery at the moment!

It's the cart end you want to drip into. Nice and easy, even on a 901.

Rat'll show you how to do it:
