So, I'm at the point where my basic kit needs to upgraded

Got paid today. First things first, ordering juices from about 3 different new vendors, so far I really like my peach from myfreedomsmokes.com.

Have the Ego C type B. So far it has kept me off of the analogs, but I want something "more." One thing that has expedidited my need to purchase is one of my atomizers (not just the head) is dead. It worked, and then it rolled under my leg on the couch and I think I somehow snapped it and now NOTHING. Tried 2 new heads and it is dead. Not DoA, but yes, I killed it. Gotta say, my biggest pet peeve so far is not the occasional leakage but the liquid in the mouth; that collection of juice that stays in the top of the tank. Don't know how to prevent it, but it always accumulates and makes vaping ore hassle-some.

So far I have ordered 2 apparent knock offs of short wick clearomizers and boy did those disappoint. Before I pull the debit-card trigger and go buy a Provari, I think I will use my allotted PV budget to finding my atomizer "method" of choice. I unfortunately did not get the VV ego batts, just the 10000mah ones.

This is my plan of attack and I want flaws pointed out if you would be so kind.

1) giving clearomizers a real chance and getting them from MadVapes instead of some crud place.

2) Want to try cartomizer tanks! It is my belief that 3.3 volts will be insufficient to truly test these hence number 3

3) VV ego Batts.

4) Mini Novas gotta try those.

I want to figure out which setup I want to use before going all out on expensive PV's. I believe the VV ego C is a way to do this.

Are the VV batts a necessity in this trial period? Trying to learn about volts, watts, ohms; all a bit much to take in without hands on experience. Thank you for any feedback!!!

When you venture away from the Ego C tanks, having more voltage will be an asset in testing other delivery systems. But if you stay away from high resistance (2.8 ohms +) you won't need all that much more. I vape at 4 v and often less on the 2.4 ohm head of the Vivi Nova. So, a 6 V device isn't an imperative.

The ego C tanks are great for what they are, hell you could say I owe my life to them. So how far could I go with 3.3 standard ego batts with all the variations?

Should I just try all these mods with my standard batts and go LR with all of them and save that money towards my coveted high-end PV? Or, will the VV ego batt help me assert which is truly best?

Like Flyer said, I have a Lavatube that goes all the way up to 6v, but I rarely go over 4.8. Get an Ego C Twist if you don't mind the length.

The boge lr 2.0 cartomizers have been a good set up with a riva/ego battery for me. I have a vv unit and a 6v pv but that set up has been low maintenance. Depending on how much liquid you go thru, they last a fair amount of time. I'm not a heavy vaper and one lasts about a week for me.

Yes, I don't want a Provari for 6v, (mostly the safety features and warranty) but would it behoove me to get an Ego C twist to truly experiment and get the best verdict on my vaping style?

Almost anything will be better than the little Ego tanks you've been using. I agree with you, even though there are a lot of ways to step up from the Ego, they did the same for me. Without them, I might have given up on vaping all together.

SO scratch the twists? I am very ok with that. Will it run the Novas at 3.3v?

Your Ego will certainly work well with the low resistance heads in the Vivi Nova kit, but the battery life will probably be reduced. The twist will give you more voltage options, and a little more battery life. The Twist is not a bad way to go, but for me personally, it was just a stepping stone to a system that had much better battery life. There is nothing wrong with taking your time and moving up incrementally.
