What makes it sweet?

Quick question.
what makes my carto's taste sweet?
Do they add a sweetener to the flavor?

Some do, but PG itself has a sweet taste.

PG does taste sweet but they'll also add Ethyl Maltol aka Cotton Candy. For those, like myself, that are sensitive to it there are alternatives- liquid Splenda and a few others.

The VG in liquids, itself, is sweet tasting and the PG has a bit of a sweet taste as well. Some add sweetener or EM (ethyl maltol) to some of their liquids. Certain sweet flavors will also give you that sweet taste

I was also thinking about that, Ive seen a few companies that say they use 100% nat flavors and ingredients, so I wonder what they use to sweeten. Artificial sweeteners are usually not natural, and ethyl ( ?) is also artificial? I cant think that if they use sugar( or sucrose in fruits) that it would be good for electronics as they would burn off sticky sugary residue. Just a thought.
