    Default Cracking tanks

Hello! I'm just curious (about much but I'm narrowing it down to one thing for the moment), I've read the list of juices that will possibly crack certain tanks but what I wonder is how long it takes for these tanks to crack. Immediately? Hours? Days? Or possibly any of those depending on the juice and tank?

Depending on the juice and tank. I've had juices that completely destroy a tank in minutes and others take a couple of days.

Go to the site Phiniac tanks. Made of tempered glass. Nothing cakes them. You can throw them against a garage door if you want. Great tanks. I have one. No juice that will ever crack it.

Another suggestion I have seen (have not tried yet, waiting (im)patiently for the vape mail) is the optional metal tube for the vivi nova tanks. They are around $5-6 each depending on where you get them, and have multiple colors available. That way if you get more than 1 vivi nova you can load the different flavors and remember which is which No worries on on the juice cracking the metal.

Have had a cinnamon juice in a Vivi Nova tank for 5 days now without any cracking or crazing. Admittedly it is just one juice but I have had zero problems. Maybe they have it fixed now.

Use Pyrex tanks or polypropolene tanks, not polycarbonate, and you don't have to worry about what will or will not crack your tanks. Try Welcome to Valley View Vapes - Your Home for Quality Inexpensive Tanks and Vaping Supplies . They are a very inexpensive source.
    Good Luck!

the vivi nova 2.5 tanks are juice resistant.
On the other hand, keep a cracked tank around (dont throw it out) and test new juices by putting a drop or two on it and wait and see what happens, before you put it in whatever your using.

I think maybe it's best to just stay away from anything made out of polycarbonate. It's not very chemical-resistant (that's why they crack/melt) and has BPAs that leach onto your liquid. It can happen in seconds to days, depending on the chemicals in the liquid.

Some companies are using better plastics now (like polyethylene/polypropylene polymers), but from what I hear, people are still having problems with florals, like honeysuckle and cherry blossom. Of the plastics out there, I'm thinking that the safest one I've seen so far is the one they use on CE3s, which looks like the same plastic they use on medical-grade syringes (polyethylene - chemical resistant and food friendly). But if you can find a Pyrex one that you like, that might be best. I would love a rebuildable clearo-type one, where you don't have to insert a poly-fill carto and just replace the heating element when it goes bad.
