Ok so you all should be getting to know my questions by now...

and i know some of these have been addressed so bear with me...

Cartomizers have filler atomizer and portability

the clear ones usually wicks of some sort top bottom long whatever...

whats the dealio with top coils - bottom coils - dual coils ...
whats the difference in them do they have a wicking system no wicking system it is lake a carto with the atomizeer and liquid held in one piece... though some are rebuildable, or changeable

and whats up with resistances... what does that accomplish or enhance and how do you know which one would be the best one for you personally

Cartomizer = Cartrige and atomizer in one. They typically have a polly fill in them that holds the juice and a coil running though it that heads up to turn the juice into vapor.

Clearomizer = is a cartomizor with no polly fill that typically use some sort of wicking system to get the juice to the heating coil. What is and what is not a clearo can be confusing.

Top coil - just means the coil (what heats up) is at the top (closer to your mouth), which typically means the vapor will be a little warmer.

Bottom Coil - the coil is at the bottom which gives a cooler vape.

A warm vs a cooler vape is personal preference.

DC or Dual Coil - just means there are two coils. Two coils equals more vapor but will suck your battery dead faster. If you buy anything with dual coals make sure your battery can handle the load. I would not recommend dual coils for a beginner.

Cartomizers have a poly fill that soak up the juice like a sponge and feed it to the coil and wick. With the exception of dripping atomizers, they all have a wick (cartos and clearos). In a carto, there is a small wick inside the coil and the filler in the carto feeds the wick. Cartomizers are portable and convenient, but have drawbacks. You don't know how much juice is in them, you have to top them off a lot and they can burn if you vape them dry. You also can not clean them easily or change juice flavors. They can mute flavors. Also, thick and dark juices will clog them quicker. The coil is usually in the middle of the tube wrapped by the filler. Some cartos have horizontal bottom coils, so coil is not actually wrapped in the filler. These generally don't burn as easily.

Clearos are anything where you can see the level of juice (not including tanks that use cartos). Although it is sometimes called a tank, the vivi nova for example is basically a 3.5ml clearo. Clearos don't have filler, they have a coil and a wick. The juice is fed to the coil through the wick which sucks up the juice in the clear tube or tank.

There are two types of clearos for the most part, top coil and bottom coil. Top coils have the coil on top, close to your drip tip and wicks that hang down into the tube or tank. The juice is fed up into the coil through the wicks. Generally, you get a little warmer vape because the heating of the coil and thus vaporizing of the juice is taking place closer to your mouth. Bottom coils have the coil at the bottom, with a much smaller wick. The wicks are fed by gravity. If you turn them upside down, the wick and coil does not get wet and you get dry burns. You get a slightly cooler vape (not that noticable IMHO.

The resistance determines how many watts you are vaping, the lower the resistance, the more watts thus more heat. Lower resistance coils drain your battery faster and use more juice but they give you more heat and vapor. Never use anything lower than a 2.4ohm coil on batteries smaller than 650mah, you risk frying your battery.

Dual coils will give you more vapor, but it is generally cooler vapor. They have two coils in them but they are higher resistance. For example, a 1.5ohm dual coil carto has two 3.0ohm coils in it. They are very hard on your battery and again, shouldnt be used on any battery smaller than 650mah.

It's just about all been said.

But I'll throw this out. Top Coil's are Many Times Easier to Clean. And Bottom Coils can have Some Problems with Leaking that Top Coil's don't have as much.

Resistance Rule of Thumb.

For the Same e-Cigarette,

Higher Resistance = Cooler Hit – Less Vapor and Flavor
Lower Resistance = Warmer Hit – More Vapor and Flavor
Too Low Resistance = Hot Hit which Tastes Like Burnt Marshmallows
