    Default 808 to 510 adapter

Hey all. Been lurking for a while and just want to double check before I place an upgrade order. I have a Smokeless image Volt and have been very pleased, but am not feeling satisfied enough to go totally analog free. I just upgraded to the X2 900mah from SI to get more power. I had bad luck with their clearomizers and wanted to try the Vivi Nova. Is the 808 to 510 adapter all that I need to make the Vivi work on my X2?

I realize this should go on the SI subforum, but I don't have enough posts.

Thanks! You guys have taught me so much, and I am grateful.

That adaptor should work. The x2 won't be more power than your smaller Volts, they are both regulated to output in the 3.7v range. It will give you longer battery life between charges though.

The Vivi comes with three heads if I'm not mistaken. Use the one with the amp resistance that Smokeless Image recommends for their battery line. Not certain but I think its 2.6 ohm to 2.9 ohm.

Yes it will work make sure you get 808 battery to 510 atomizer adapter. If you get the Vivi make sure to use the correct resistance head. you can use the lower ohms head it will give you a better throat hit but it will also kill the life of your battery. You should also try a higher nic level of juice first that may satisfy you.

I don't know if you saw this or not, but this next week they are coming out with these new exclusive clearomizers, you might want to try one of those before messing with adapters.

Yeah...I'd hang on and wait for the X2-T3s to come out.

Personally, I like to use Elite cartomizers ELITE 808 CARTOMIZERS Yes...they are kinda expensive. But they do hold 2ml. and work flawlessly and are nearly indestructible and last seemingly FOREVER. Well...maybe not really. But I've been using the same 2 Elite cartos every day, day in and day out...refilling multitudinous times..for nearly 6 weeks and they are STILL cranking along! Believe me...I am a heavy chain vaper. I run through between 6 and 8 ml. a day easy.

Basilor---THANKS!!! How did I miss that? Looks like just what I was looking for.

    Now to wait. Booooooooo.

Corn 410---You may be right. Have some 24mg coming from VapeDudes.

The analogs are really starting to taste nasty and I'm smoking less and less. I just need something a little....more. Maybe nicotine level will do.

Bottom coil anythings are fabulous, I have tried a few bottom coil clearos and they are great, would definitely hold out and pick some of these up.

Just an FYI........ for the 808 to 510 adapter to work, you must have a MANUAL volt. The Automatics will not work with any adapter that I've found so far. Has to do with the air hole on the sides of the battery rather than the center post.

Try a 4081 carto to 401 battery adapter. No idea why but my 510 carto and atty works with my sealed auto 808's.
