    Default New E-Cig Smoker

    Hello !

I have been vaping for 5 days now and love it !!! I purchased a Smoke 51 and have cut back smoking standard cigarettes from 30+ a day to 3 per day.

I almost hate the taste of standard cigarettes now. Love the Smoke 51 but wished the batteries lasted longer. I find that they last 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and then off to the charger they go.

So I was considering purchasing another E Cig to supplement my Smoke 51.
Searched the forum but can't come up with a definite choice. Would like one that is not a Screwdriver but has decent battery time before charging. Any input would be apprecaited.

Either you want a long life battery device that gives the best throat hit and reliability or you want looks. You can't have both. If you want looks, go with the Blu, SmokeEverywhere RN4081 or a super mini. If you want the best performance and longest battery life with batteries that only cost $2, these are your choices:

The Big Eight in Long Battery Life Manual Switch PV’s: (6-8 hours on a charge)

    Screwdriver: ecigscrewdriver.com
The Black Screwdriver Kit / Totally Wicked eLiquid / Electronic Cigarette eLiquid Store
Prodigy: PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!
    GG: SmokeJuice - HOME
JantyStick: Janty USA - Janty USA
LV/ZiMoshi:Personal Vaporizers : Hardass Vapor Shop
Super T: Super T, Innovative manufacturer of Personal Vaporizer products.
AdapteverR: AdapteveR Home of the ORIGINAL USA built PV : Home
    Silver Bullet: http://www.altsmoke.com/starterkit/silverbullet.html

    Wow WV, great list!

Hey Harley, if you are a chain vaper and want long battery life, big is the way to go. I just got my Prodigy a over a week ago and haven't looked back.

There is also the Joye 510 that has a PCC case that can charge 4 (I think?) batteries in a row before needing to be recharged itself. But that still only gets you buy for a few extra hours.

I also started with the Smoke51 and have since purchased a Vapor King from vapor4life. I can use the vapor King Cartridges on my smoke51 batterys. I liked the amount of vapor on the smoke51 but thought it was lacking in taste. The flavor in the vapor King cartidges are excellent! I havent bought a smoke51 cartridge since.

30 mins to 35 mins? Goodness gracious, how much are you vaping? I'm not sure exactly what the Smoke 51 is, but that's a bit low sounding for batt life to me. MoobyGhost says that his lasts a couple of hours with heavy vaping, and mine lasts more than that. MoobyGhosts suggests the long life batt from Totally Wicked, and I consider him to be the guru of vaping, so I would probably go with that one if I needed it.

    Thanks, shiv,

I wish someone would make a "sticky" on this whole battery issue. These newbs want 6-8 hour batteries and great throat hit from a super mini, which will never happen. If you did a true comparison of models under heavy vaping conditions (taking a hit 20-25 times an hour) you could put this question to rest. The super mini's might last an hour at best and many no more than 30 minutes. Only the devices like the Prodigy, Screwdriver, Super T, Janty Stick, etc would get close to 5-6 hours of vaping time.

I tried the Smoke 51 too along with several other ciggy looking brands and couldn't completely stop sneaking analogs...

Once I got my Screwdriver I never looked back, haven't had an analog since the day it arrived... Now I have 2! Got my sister hooked the same way... Now she has 2

If you REALLY want to stick with a small cig looking smoke then you need one of the charging cases to make it through the day. I also don't like pre-filled cartridges and much prefer topping off with a little dropper bottle to swapping cartridges.
