Weird symptom of vaping
-
I don't want to be all pessimistic, but my friend's mom has ms, and he knows tons about it....
Dizziness is common with MS, and if it sticks around a while, you really need to go to a doctor. Apparently they give you dramamine or something similar, but they want to check you out anyway when it happens.
I'm MS clueless, so just passing the info along...

Yea - I agree that you should look to the MS first -
Also - for others here suggesting the nic -
You get significantly less nicotine from vaping than from analogs - About 10%
It has to do with absorption rates - There are many threads that discuss this -
It is highly unlikely that you will get too much nic from vaping -

I'm not disabled, but hobbling outside for a smoke with a cane is a pain in the patootie. This dizziness is crazy-strong. I looked up the symptoms for nicotine poisoning, and I don't have any of 'em. That's why I wondered if anyone else here had experienced this.
Hmm, I would have thought that you would be eligible for Medicade since you have MS. Though they have changed it to where you need to be considered disabled unless you are under 21 or have children living with you. Do either of those apply to you?
You say that you can work, so it may be difficult for you to get medicade from your state if you are wanting to keep working. Couldn't hurt to try though, especially if you don't work a whole lot or if you work a good deal but don't get paid much. I would have thought that someone would MS would have been considered disabled. Once again, I don't know much about MS, but I have heard that it can be pretty bad. And I know that you probably don't want to be considered disabled, but anything that you can do to help get you the medical care you need can't be a bad thing!
Edit: I'm sorry, I've been spelling Medicaid as Medicade for some crazy reason today, I just realized! I'm not really retarded, I am just not thinking today.

Check out post #17 on this thread as well, since you have MS the PG could be affecting you differently than it does others.

Well, I need another year and a half of credits before I can qualify for disability. But - I love my job (how many folks can claim that!) so I'm in no hurry to go on disability. Not that I've made a study of it, but I think as long as you're working, you don't qualify for medical benefits.
Anyhow, I've cut off my vapor for at least 24 hours to see if this awful feeling goes away. But I gotta tell ya - THESE ANALOGS TASTE NASTY NOW!! Yuck.

Oh no! Go to the doctor, we don't want you on analogs!
I know that in my town, there is a clinic that charges according to your income, but I happen to fall in the income range where I only have to pay $5 to go. But they have varying degrees of income ranges, so maybe you could qualify for something like that if you have a clinic like that around where you live. I'm not going to ask how much money you make, but I would say that unless you make a boatload of money, if you are under the national average (which seems terribly high to me coming from a very poor area), you should be able to qualify for maybe at least a 25% cut.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I haven't vaped for 12 hours and still feel pretty messed up. With MS it's common for weird symptoms to crop up just long enough to bug the hell out of ya and then usually they go away. Even my neurologist says not to bother to come in unless I've been tormented for 5 days or so. I'll put the vaping on hold for another day or so to see if there's any change. I've ordered e-liguid in a VG base just in case it's the PG that's messin' with me, and I'm drinking tons of fluids. Hopefully this will just pass so that I can get on with my vaping experience. Anyhow - THANKS EVERYONE for all of the links and helpful suggestions.

Thanks. I've got a call in to my neurologist and hubby is going to pick up some dramamine for me. Couldn't make it in to work today. *sigh* But ... I guess that means that I can hang out here and learn more ins and outs.
