Hi, well this may be a stupid thing to say but why can’t you just buy smoke machine fog juice? You can get them in apple etc and they are safe to breath in at a nightclub and at $6 for a 1lt it sound cheap. I asked the guy at the store and he said make your own mate, 1 part Glycerin to 2 parts distill water. So can you use say apple smoke and add nicotine? So guys I am new to all this, so I find it strange that e-juice is so hard to buy and cost an arm and a leg. Any chemist around here? LOL

Try reading the DIY eliquid forum (same section as Tips and Tricks), there are tons of forums about making your own. A short answer to your question is no, you can't use smoke machine fog juice because it has a lot of impurities. You need to get food grade pure vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol as your base. You can add any flavors as long as they don't contain oils, colorings or sugars; not sure what people in Australia are buying. As far as adding nicotine, there are a few ways, seems the most popular is buying a high strength juice and mixing the PG and flavor with it to cut costs.
