I have three cats and one in particular (Roo) hates tobacco smoke, but he tolerates vapor in the same room. As others have written, I think as long as sensible precautions are taken, our cats can only really benefit from our switch to vaping.

LOL...in an effort to get it back on topic. I have a cat and my hubby and I have also discussed this. From what I have read so far I'm finding that the levels of PG that are released in the exhale aren't a concern. I do keep everything put away so that the cat (and the kids) can't get into it. I do vape throughout the house and have found that when I am using my e-cig the cat generally stays away from me. The one time she climbed on my lap while I was vaping she kind of turned up her nose and jumped down.

I don't have cats, and do not know whether the amoung ot exhaled PG could reach a high enough level to harm a cat. However, I believe that -unlike smoke- the e-cig vapor is more likely to go down then up, as it is heavier than air. I still doubt that it would be enough to be harmful, however.
