    Default hello

Hey all my first post but i've been lurking for about a month or so and just had a couple questions. I was browsing redflagdeals forum and ended up at dealxtreme looking through all the nifty gadgets they have. Eventually i clicked on one for an ecig then decided to do a little research on them and wound up in this forum. Now a proud owner of a dse901b from puresmoker (thanks Steve) but it seems that smoking these or vaping i guess would be the term, my mouth and throat seems to get dry that i need to have a drink anytime i vape. This is the second day i've been using it for now and i had only 1 cancer stick since i had to charge the batteries for about 10 hours or so. I had a coughing fit last night while vaping but not sure if that was due to me vaping continously or my throat trying to get used to it. One other thing i noticed is that i have this tingling feeling in my mouth (not sure how else to describe it) every time i vape and was wondering if these were normal symptoms in the beginning and eventually go away.

I'm not a heavy smoker but i just want to get rid of the habit of smoking cancer sticks. Smoke about 10-12 lights a day but recently been feeling the effects which made my decision to move to ecigs. I do find that i smoke ecigs more often than normal ones but i think it's more of the fact that i'm trying to learn how to smoke these properly or at least that's what i tell myself .

Nothing you should be too worried about Most people have those symptoms for a few days but get used to it after a week or 2. If after that time the symptoms continue, you may be allergic to the PG in the liquid but there is non-PG liquid available too

Well i hope i'm not allergic to PG as i just ordered more liquid from Steve which should be here in a week or so but i guess i'll find out. Would you happen to know if this is ok to use with juice Glycerine Vegetable - USP 99.5% as i'm interested in getting more vapour. I can't post links but should be the first one if search through google. Thanks

    hello,

    I'm also new :-)

I have a dse 101 that I've had for a few days. It's been disappointingly low on vapour. Great for about the first 2 or 3 pulls on the cart, but a bit rubbish after that. One battery seems better than the other. Is that usual? do they need time to settle in?

I am also interested in the reply re glycerine. As i have just put a drop of glycerine (super cook brand- i had some in the cupboard!) into a cart and got the best vapour yet! please tell me i wont damage my e-cig or lungs! especially as i seem to be getting through a cart a day (and i'm not heavy on it).

    thanks

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

There is some information about getting glycerine in the UK here - Online source for food grade glycerol for people in the U.K.

The one you mention sounds ok Eyecrave, over 99% pure is food or pharmaceutical grade, that's fine.

    thanks

I'm curious to see what long-time 901 users say about this battery problem. I've got a similar problem: one battery lasts quite a long time, great vapor production. My other "good" battery only lasts for about 20 minutes and is extremely hard to draw on. Since I've only had it for 3 days, I'd say it is a bad battery. I could understand if it was like that after 2-4 weeks of use, but it was like that from day 1. So I'd say your rubbish battery is just that. See if you can exchange for a new one, that's what I'm doing, good luck!

Hey HeartsSmoking! Definitely true. A 901 battery *should* last about 2 - 2.5 hours of Constant vaping or about 3-4 hours off and on, or long depending how long your "off" is .. haha ...

If its only lasting 20 minutes and you are for sure charging it correctly, definitely contact the supplier ... they should replace without any issues!

I have a 901 battery that I charge like every 3 days, but I only use it about 15-20 minutes each day ... haha ... the rest of the time, I use the USB pass through device.

P.S. = My PM Mailbox gets really full, really fast, so bear with me if it takes me a few days to get to your PM :) Don't forget, you can always contact us at info@puresmoker.com :)

Steve, there is a USB cable for the 901 similar to the Janty KB Classic one?? I thought there wasn't or maybe you are referring to the regular USB battery charger. Is there in fact a USB battery/pass-through cable??
