    Cool Vapcigs

Hey There... Just picked up a Vapcigs kit at my local smoke shop, and was really disappointed in the non-existent manual! For inserting the cartridge, do I remove the foil cover, or simply jam it home into the vaporizer??? It seems as though it might damage the folded wire mesh doing the latter... Please help, want to start vaping! THANKS!!! mdrsailor!

I know nothing about Vapcigs, sorry.

What I do know is this: never buy an e-cig kit at the mall or a smoke shop unless you just enjoy throwing money away on overpriced and substandard equipment.

How much did it set you back?

I would remove the foil. The carts most of us use have a plastic cap instead. The juice needs to be able to move into the atomizer.

Thanks for the replies guys...First, I'm kind of an instant gratification type! Been hearing about e-cigs for a little bit, and they finally hit the airwaves here...Smoke assassin... On a whim, hit the smoke shop. Wasn't too bad at all, $69??? I'm way tired of smoking, and wanted to see the alternative before really try and quit. I'm guessing the foil needs to come off too, just didn't know if it was "all liquid" that would drain out, but now I see it's saturated filler. One online site helped confuse, cause I could see a foil cover deep in the cart, and the showed just shoving the thing together...

Hello Sailor, Dont get dicouraged if that thing gives you a hard time now. It sounds like youve got one simalar to what I started with,(also got from a smoke shop). Its a J118. Yer supposed to push the cart in with the foil on, and the atty. is supposed to punch through it, but it dosent work well AT ALL!!! Guess thay dont wont you to get fluid on ya. Any way it worked good enough that I started looking for a better unit, and thats how I found this forum. All downhill from there.Got a 510m kit w/pcc. from RMV and BYE-BYE Analogs!!! good luck.

mosh-Thanks for the additional info. It works satisfactorily enough to do the job, but it's not quite the satisfaction I am looking for.

Can you tell me what your suggestion of :

    Got a 510m kit w/pcc. from RMV

    Actually is?
    Thanks! Sailor!

It's all a matter of technique in the beginning. E-cig's are no where
near smoking a regular cigarette. The style is completely different,
and each model has it's own technique.

No matter what model you decide on, you'll have to learn to use it.
The bashers will tell you that "This is better than that" - "This
has more problems than that" - "Buy this" & "Buy that". Listen or
don't. It's your choice, but no matter what you have, you'll have,
to learn technique. Once you master how to drag, how much juice
to add, and how your unit works, you're on your way.

Learning is the key, and it takes some time. Many of us here will be
happy to help in the learning process. Just keep in mind that if you
spend $10.00 or $1,000.00, the device will give you trouble until you
    learn to use it.

A Ferrari is no better than a Yugo if you don't know how to drive.

If you're really unsure about something, or afraid to ask publically,
Send a PM to the person of your choice, and help can be made in
private, or just ask away here, for more opinions.

    Cheers;
    jd

What model do you have? where did you buy it? I have a Vapcigs kit and it rocks. The girls at the shop even showed me how to use it, even though mine came with a manual. I guess they just put out a new one too that doesn't have the foil and comes in a box shaped like a regular pack of cigarettes with a built-in wall outlet charger. Super portable!
