    Default Joye510 Noob Questions.

    Ok I ordered a 510 from healthcabin.net on sunday and it was supposed to arrive today but i missed the mailman so I have to wait until tommorow to pick it up......Anyways I figured while I was anxiously waiting I would post a thread.
    What do I absolutely need to know about this model or ecigs in general about cleaning etc? I bought 3-10ml bottles of juice to go along with the kit and a PCC. I watched a video on properly refilling the carts with filler and juice and was wondering if the amount of filler that comes in them is good or should I take a little bit of it out? I plan to do the PTB mod soon but I figured I would use it a couple days to get used to it and maybe do the straw mod because its quick and easy.
    Also I've read about the primer and how nasty it is, so all I would do is blow it out and put 2-3drops of whichever juice I want onto the atty?
    Next, if I charge the batteries but dont use them how fast would they discharge themselves? and is it safe to put the batteries on the charger all night? I've also read that the batteries if left in the pcc will drain the pcc.

    Lastly, the maintenance instructions for the joye510 seem pretty extensive but is there anything I should do to keep everything working perfectly for the longest possible time?(dry burn, clean with alcohol etc etc)

    Sorry about my long post but its my first post on this forum so I was getting all of my questions out of the way.
    Thanks and I am looking forward to vaping

    Howdy FullofJoy;
    You're talking about making changes to a new e-cig. This is only my personal opinion, but I'm a firm believer in "Learn to use it before you mess with it"
    I suggest you download the troubleshooting guide for information and tips on your e-cig and juice.
    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...ing-guide.html

    It's all a matter of technique in the beginning. E-cig's are no where
    near smoking a regular cigarette. The style is completely different,
    and each model has it's own technique.

    No matter what model you decide on, you'll have to learn to use it.
    The bashers will tell you that "This is better than that" - "This
    has more problems than that" - "Buy this" & "Buy that". Listen or
    don't. It's your choice, but no matter what you have, you'll have,
    to learn technique. Once you master how to drag, how much juice
    to add, and how your unit works, you're on your way.

    Learning is the key, and it takes some time. Many of us here will be
    happy to help in the learning process. Just keep in mind that if you
    spend $10.00 or $1,000.00, the device will give you trouble until you
    learn to use it.

    A Ferrari is no better than a Yugo if you don't know how to drive.

    If you're really unsure about something, or afraid to ask publically,
    Send a PM to the person of your choice, and help can be made in
    private, or just ask away here, for more opinions.

    Cheers;
    jd

    I completely agree and I definitely plan to use it for a few days to get the feel for it before I go changing things. Thanks for the advice.
