Can you improve battery life by taking the battery and atomizer apart when your not using the ecig?

I don't think so. If you have a very sensitive battery switch, doing this can protect your atomizer -but I doubt that it would do anything for your battery life. I am not sure, though.

Thanks a lot, I didn't thinks so but wasn't sure if energy was constantly being drawn from the battery.

No it's not. I've kept my minis fully assembled all week, although I only smoke them when going out and have noticed no drop in performance.
Battery life decreases with use though, so I now constantly keep charging my penstyle batteries (day-to-day use
)

If your useing one with a cleaning cycle, unscrew them. If it goes off in the middle of the night, it Can burn out your atomizer.
I know the Pen does, not sure about the others. 901 Might too.

The clearing cycle is triggered by the puffs.. basically the battery has a counter and when it reaches XXX puffs it starts the cleaning. Which means that clearing starts only immediately after a puff when the counter is increased, if u leave the cig it wont suddenly start to clean itself

Keeping the juice out of the batterys help prolong the life of a battery. I use pipe cleans or paper towel rolled in a thin tight roll to get the juice out of the battery. I also charge my batterys with the charge in a up position so any juice can run out. If you do that you will see juice sometimes in the hole in the end of the battery.

Thanks for the info everyone, I will have to try some of these things out.
