    Talking Battery times...

Howdy all, and welcome to my first post! I have a question about battery life.
When it says a batter lasts, say 4 hours, what exactly does that mean? Is that 4 hours of normal smoking? I wish they would advertise like Leaford puts it in his reviews and tell about how many puffs you get from a full charge! Grrrr!

Well, Janty has posted their puff counts for their new MiniFogger: Janty Kissbox Classic Holiday Sale!

The advert claims 200 puffs per charge. That's a start. But it still begs the question of how long a puff is. Ludo said 4 seconds when I asked, but that would be 160 of my 5-second puffs. We shall see.

Going by my experience of the mini 901 - Battery run time is supposed to be 3 hrs.

In reality 2 hrs is more like it.

    Why ?
After 2 hrs it will still produce vapour but will not be as satisfying to vape.

So while the battery you are looking at may last for 4 hrs , the question you should be asking is how many hours will it produce satisfactory vapour for.

I'm getting around 4 hours on my penstyle but it all would depend on how heavy you hit it.

    Default lights on the charger?

    I have the 510 manual (black/blue).
I don't know what the lights on the charger are meant to indicate.
Green for charging, red for done/full?
    Vice-versa?
The instruction manual did not say.

    thanks

If its an authentic Joye charger should be red charging/green done if its a knock off it could be the same or opposite. After using it a bit what color is the light when you put the battery on it? That should be the charging color.

Actually, I went back and read the isntructions again.
I was confused, because when I first received the kit, it was green when I plugged the battery in (it said I would have to charge it first).
But, now, after having used it, it is red when I connect a used battery.
Apparently the new batteries came fully charged.
Also, I took a closer look at the manual, and it does say in there,"after 1 to 2 hours charging, the indicator light will change from red to green, meaning that the battery is fully charge."
I just missed that on my first perusal.

    be well,
    tony

One more question about the 510 stock chargers....

After the battery is charged, light goes green, is it OK to leave it on the charger? Will the charger maintain the charge?

At least one inquiring mind wants to know
