Cool Howdy All, Question on the green Smoke

    Good Morning,
Fist and foremost, this seems to be a great place for information and I would like to thank you all for the useful (and in some cases just entertaining) posts. I have been smoking for 18 years and doing the RYO for 2. I ordered the Green Smoke starter kit and 2 additional cartridge packs on Thursday so I plan on having it here Monday. This will be my first go at leaving analogs behind me. I ordered it based on the you tube review by "perfectecig" and the fact that I really couldn't find anything derogatory on them other than the typical "they charge too much" rants. I ordered the Marlboro flavor carts and would really like to know if anyone THAT HAS TRIED THEM has any feedback on them. The main posts I found on here were from 1 user that seemed to repeat herself on every post so I deemed those to be troll posts. I'm really hoping that I made a good choice but if you have experience with the product feel free to fire away! After some reading it looks like their are other batteries that will work with their stuff but haven't seen anyone say where to get them. I guess it doesn't matter at the moment because the kit is coming with two. Has anyone tried the marlboro cartridges? Thanks for any feedback, both pos. and neg.

Most new users tend to want a tobacco flavor to start with, but as time goes by, many stray away and use other flavors. After a short while, tobacco cigs will start tasting bad. The other flavors have a "Clean" taste. Try some small amounts at first until you get the one that's right for you.

Juice is a major issue. Carts don't last, and get expensive. Refilling is the answer.

The Green Smoke? I don't have experience with that model, so I won't comment on it.

Atomizers are unpredictable, so pick up a few spares.

You're on your way, take it slow & easy, work on technique, and read some of the sticky threads in this section. Help is here if you need it.

    Cheers;
    jd

Geez, I have posted my experiences with Greensmoke...and am hoping I'm not the one you think is a troll, lol. If I am...oh well.

To sum up my experience (yet again): great vapor (though mostly mouth vapor, with little throat hit); long lasting carts, which I found difficult to refill, though others have had success in refilling them; had the menthol so I can't comment on their marlboro carts; returned my kit within the 30 days because I couldn't justify the additional cost given that both batteries died within that month (the gal at GS did say that they'd improved their batteries, so, hopefully you won't have that problem); Red Dragon's battery is compatible with the GS cartridges and is less expensive (tho' their cartridges are more expensive).

Good luck and happy vaping! Oh, btw, I did find that at the start of new cartridge, for the first few vapes, it worked best to do a double inhale...the first one being very quick, immediately followed by a longer draw.

Thanks for your reply(And NO, you weren't the suspect poster) I really wish I had found this forum before placing my order though.... I guess we'll see how it goes? I'm seriously considering buying something else in the meantime because if I am disappointed, I don't want to have to wait for something better.... What did you switch to that you are happy with?

I'm using a 510 manual now...I do really like it. I also still use my SmokeStik and do like it when I don't want to mess with the manual push button. You can find good deals on the 510, and yes, I would order something else just in case you don't want to keep the GS. If I ever have enough discretionary money, I'd love to try some other models, maybe even a mod (never thought I'd say that!)...don't think you can have too many models, lol. Though until the FDA outcome is know, I think people's suggestions to stock up on what you need for your basic, standby is a wise suggestion.

I tried their marlboro and their sample packs and I will say that their flavors are among the best on the E9. I'm afraid I do have to agree that their prices are a bit steep and it's difficult to justify paying $100 for an E9 starter kit, but I'm not going to tell you how to spend your money. Their Marlboro is good and long-lasting, but their Vanilla is currently the best I've tasted (and also long lasting)

feel free to PM me with any other questions.

Since it is coming, why not give it a try? It might work well for you and if it doesn't, you can send it back within 30 days. They all have a learning curve.

I can recommend the 510 highly if you decide on something else. One thing for sure is your choice in looks and tastes may change as you go along. When I started, I wanted the ecig to look and taste like a regular cig. A few weeks into it, that changed. I now prefer it NOT look or taste like an analog. Vaping is so much more satisfying to me! Savings aside, it is cleaner - no ashtrays and stinky butts around and no smelling like a smoker, my hair smells great! Plus, the flavors you can get are terrific - order lots of samples and see what you like. I love the coffee flavored ones like Nhaler's vanilla coffee.

Just got some samples of his blackberry frappacino, and banana cream and OMG - they are killer! I never expected to like the fruit flavored ones, but I have to say I am loving vaping! So much better then the tobacco flavors in my opinion and I know without a doubt I will NEVER return to the stinky cigs as long as I can vape! Good luck to you!

Yeah, i think I'll wait and see how it goes. My biggest concern is that I am seriously going to try and ditch analogs so battery life is important! It looks like the U9 will work with this, can anyone confirm? I've read on here that you can in fact refill the cartridges so if the green smoke functions well, I may just start refilling. I do like the looks of the 510 so i may try one out as well(it sure is a lot less expensive!)

If you scroll on down the list on the forum page you'll see a lot of suppliers with areas. I know that Nhaler carries the green cig and probably others do to. There should be posts in those areas with foks who've used the product and some of the suppliers will also answer your questions directly. So get your 15 posts you so you can post in other areas of the forum.
