Getting a head buzz/rush
after a week of having my joye 510 i see that it is hitting alot harder
than it did when i first got it. but i have yet to feel a nicotine rush.
is it possible to get a head buzz with an ecig?

I find that I have more of a standard level of nicotine in my system with the e-cig. Except when I use my 6v mod, I have to be real careful not to vape too much on it because it is so good, but can give a serious rush. If I were going to use it all the time I'd lower the amount of nic I use in my liquid. I like it for when I want a few powerful puffs and then sit it down for 20 mins or so. On the regular e-cig I can vape on it all the time, a few puffs every few mins.

it is possible to get a headrush, but i think it'd be a sign that u'd need to cut down to a lower strength or vape less hehe...

I usually vape 16-24mg. I got some 36mg to try and had an immediate head rush and waited for about 20 minutes for it to go away. Went back to the 18mg and have not had it happen again. I think the nic was too strong for me.

I've only got a head rush twice.
The first time was when I first got my 510, I just loved vaping with it and it was exciting. Vaped too much starting getting a bit of a rush, kept vaping, then felt a bit sick.
The second time was when I got my flavorings and unflavored juice and started DIY ejuicing. Into the 3rd or 4th recipe I noticed I was starting to get a bit light headed, learning from experience I stopped for awhile then went at a slower pace going forward.
The first feelings of the head rush are okay, but it's definitely a warning sign.

Someone explained on another thread that the head rush from analogs was from carbon monoxide, not nicotine. So, you may not get that same kind of head rush/buzz from vaping?

I'm still really new here at this forum, but I think Kristin is right. If you do some basic research about nicotine, it's pretty harmless except for its addictive nature (which is huge, of course). It's the carbon monixide that gives smokers the "light-headed" or "head rush" feeling, and you don't get CO from vaping.
I've only been vaping for 10 days (definitely loving the not smoking), and I feel very satisfied with the "throat hit", but I do not get any kind of "head buzz" like I did with smoking. I remember clearly that "buzz" you are talking about -- it happened for me if I smoked after not smoking for several hours. Honestly, I only missed that feeling the first couple of days that I started vaping. Now I really don't miss it at all.
BTW, I was a 2-pack-a-day smoker for 38 years.

I've started testing with just PG and VG and flavoring in small amounts and then when I find a flavor I like I replace some of the PG amount with Nic liquid to mix up larger amounts. That way I can test taste for a few hours and not get sick from too much nic.

I definitely know the cigarette buzz you speak of, and in fact I have gotten it from smoking a couple analogs (oops) since I started vaping.
BUT, I have gotten some type of buzz from vaping, and if it isn't nicotine, then it must be either the PG or flavoring. I haven't done it in a while because I am supposed to be cutting nicotine, but I found that if I dripped with 18mg juice "non-stop" for about 20-30 minutes, I most definitely got some type of buzz or high feeling, but it did feel different from the cigarette buzz we are talking about.
