Some beginner questions
I just purchased a kit from a company called "Smoking Everywhere", it seems to be obscure as i've found no reviews on their goods thus far. Hopefully i made a good decision. Anyhow:
-Has Anyone heard of this company? Anyone familiar with the kit?
-Am i going to have to purchase refill cartridges only from the company who made them?
-Will i be able to use liquid instead of buying catridges?
Anyway thanks for your help, i'm really pumped to get my kit in the mail.
I'd post a link to the kit........but i can't cause i'm a noob.
(I really used to despise the use of the word noob, i dont know whats happened to me)

Yes, I have heard of the company, and have not heard any negative reviews mentioned thus far. If there have been any negative reviews, this would be the place to hear about them and somebody will post one (or a link to one) eventually.

Possibly. When you receive it, post some pictures up and someone will probably be able to identify which model it is, and refer you to a place to get some refill carts.

Indeed.

Thanks, and welcome to vaping!! Good luck with your new ecig!

I was going to buy from the same people. But I heard bad things about it. Plus, the price was way too high. Good luck tho.

Okay all, this is my first post. I've probably read over 300 threads on this site, but, until now, I haven't decided to post anything - mostly because at first I lacked experience and knowledge about ecigs. I wanted to post in this thread, though, because my first ecig was a 'SmokingEverywhere' ecig that I bought at Tysons Corner Mall where I live in the Washington DC metro area. Here's the deal with Smoking Everywhere:
It's way, way, way,way overpriced for what it is ($150.00 for a super-mini). On top of that, the salesmen at the kiosks lie to prospective customers. I'm unsure which model they are reselling (it's probably the DSE103), but you can at least rest assured that they are nothing but resellers -or, marketers, if you will- of the same Chinese-patented and manufactured e-cigs that every other merchant sells. One reason why Smokeeverywhere is so expensive is because they are the first non-online, brick-and-mortor retailers that are selling e-cigs mainstream in the U.S; and they need to mark-up their products to recover the cost of their fancy marketing and well stocked kiosks. They have even been featured on NBC and Fox news in the U.S. because of all the attention their in-mall kiosks have gathered around the eastern seaboard. Here's the skinny: They claim that you will get 1 pack of smokes out of the cartridge - LIE. They claim that their atomizers do not break - LIE. In fact, I already went back to the kiosk to ask for another atomizer and the POS salesman lied and told me that atomizers are $50 each, and that is 'cost' to him. He is full of it - atomizers should never retail for more than $10 bucks each. In fact, on SmokingEverwhere.com, they sell the atomizers for their cigs for a still overpriced $20 bucks. I would like to find-out the exact model number of SmokingEverywhere mini so I can buy replacement atomizers from another online vendor when mine finally die.
Anyway, I purchased the smokingeverywhere cigs in the beginning of october. I have since then bought a classic pen style and a 'great white' from Jane at E-Cig Sales. I heard about Jane from several members of this board; especially about her liquid, which is awesome. When I spoke to Jane on the phone, she seemed incredibly honest and forthcoming when it came to these devices. Just have a look at her website and you'll see her debunk several lies even in her product descriptions - lies about battery life, cart life, etc... I have been happy with Jane's products so far. And I now know that atomizers should be considered disposable, and I can order a new atomizer every month as mine die for 10 bucks each (Jane will probably sell me 5 atomizers for a discount two). Now, I'm not advocating for Jane. You can get the same products she sells from various online outlets. I'm just using her as an example of of a no-joke, no nonsense, honest reseller of these products. My atomizer was almost completely dead with my SmokingEverywhere mini; and it wasn't until I read posts on this forum that I realized methods for reviving dead atomizers (basically, you need to keep adding juice to the car, so as not to dry-out the fiber that sits inside the heat coil in the center of your atomizer; further, you can steam clean the atomizer with one of those handheld steamers that run for about $20 bucks on late-night infomercials).
sorry, I tend to digress. Anyway, back on subject - do NOT buy from smoking everywhere. The kisok owners/salesmen are bigtime liars and they think that customers such as you and I will never look online at sites like this to discover the truth, so they think they can feed us whatever misinformation/disinformation they want to.
I think my next purchase will be from LiteCig, or maybe ePuffer. I'm also considering a Ruyan Bling (a member Kate on this forum seems to love them). I also read today a post reply from Leaford (I think) where he states that the '2nd generation' of e-cigs should be out in the next couple of months. I can't wait for that...

Hi Guinness, welcome to the forum.
Thanks for taking my opinion on the Bling seriously. I'd just like to say that I wouldn't recommend it as a primary device. It has great taste for as long as it lasts but after a few weeks mine got hard to draw. I'll be testing out Heaven Gifts warranty soon
Thanks also for your feedback on SmokingEverywhere, I'm sure that will be useful.

they are just rebranded generics but since they are paying an arm and a leg for the kiosks at malls so they gotta sell them for 10 times what they are really worth. as for the mis informing the customers they will lose more money that way as most will not return to purchase any more products from them which is not the way to do business atleast thats my opinion

I am also new member and new to e-smoking who has been reading for weeks this fantastic forum and benefited from the first hand experience of others. Thank you all.
I agree with Guinness. The first time I heard from e-smoking was from one the kiosks run by smokingeverywhere.com. I spent over $150 on the starter kit and went home excited with my new “toy”. It was so appealing to be able to “smoke everywhere” without the smell which my husband as a non-smoker totally hates. I should have done my research first!
I was so disappointed and frustrated with the product that wanted to cry. There was barely any smoke, I had liquid in my mouth constantly and the battery was dead after 2 hours of use. I wanted to return it but they don’t return used items. That is when I started googling and found this forum among other sources related to e-smoking. I read and read in the forums and decided to purchase a pen style from puresmoker.com. I received my new e-cig about 2 weeks ago and I love it. What a difference! Plenty of smoke, better taste, full lung feeling and no liquid in my mouth. I stopped smoking real cigarette two days after I got my new e-cig.
I wouldn’t recommend buying from Smokingeverywhere.com. It is just a very low quality product with great marketing.

I do hope they lose money - at least in the long-run. For now, however, they are very profitable. In fact, there was a well-known poster here (I forgot his/her name) who linked to a magazine article that indicated a single kiosk can make 50,000USD/month, while operating at low costs of 10,000USD for rent, product and overhead per month. I guess they're making so much money because most consumers do not know of any other options for e-cig devices. Further, consumers probably think that SmokingEverywhere holds the patent for e-cigs and thereby control the market. You are right, though, in that people are getting pissed-off when their cigs break and can only be replaced at unreasonably high cost. Sure, there is a 'warranty', but I would say 'good luck' on trying to make good on that benefit. Hopefully there will be competitors that will force these idiots out of the market sometime soon; or at least force them to be more honest about their merchandise.
As mentioned above in this thread, does anyone know the model number of their main product? I know they also now have a 'new' 'Limited Edition' version that is nothing more than a classic penstyle, except theirs sells for $180USD (CRAZY!!!), but I want to know the model number of their regular e-cig (it's a super mini; 98mm long I believe). Maybe someone can discern the model by looking at a picture from there site. I don't think I can post link yet, but one can presumably find them with a simple Google search, yea? The company is spelled with one word, no space - SmokingEverywhere .
I want to purchase some more atomizers for cheap and then return to the kiosk and shove them in the kiosk operator's face and tell him that if he doesn't make good on the warranty as promised, I will post negative video reviews of his product all over the Internet, giving his product negative publicity and directing prospective consumers elsewhere. I just want these people to replace my atomizer as the warranty should allow. I mean, I paid and arm and a leg for the damn thing, so I just want what's mine.
Kate - I love the way the bling looks. I'm thinking about getting one; or I may wait until Janty releases their new fogger model. Which one should I go for?
