    Default Question: Filling own carts

I know us newbs have to start out here, so I apologize in advance if I ask alot of questions.
I have a DSE901 that came with any empty? cart and 5 prefilled carts. I've already gone through 1 prefilled in 5 or so hours, and I like vaping very much -- plan on sticking with it. So, I figure I better find out how to refill these little buggers correctly myself, and sooner than later.
So, knowing that these carts look like they can be refilled manually, I have two questions:
    1) Can I reuse the "wick" in them and just put the new drops of liquid in there and go?
    2) The wick looks like the polyfill used for pillows. Is that what it is? Does anything work better than that that a beginner can try? Dense sponge material? I think I read that shredded tea bags also work? Where can I go to find all this stuff out?

    Thanks!

    Bob

Yes you can just put the new drops of liquid in the cart, on the material that is already in there. Just drip them right on top. I suggest adjusting the material with tweezers to make sure the juice gets absorbed . And yes the filler is polyfill that is used in pillows. There is a forum on here for cart modding. If you look under the modding forums there is a subforum for cart modding and there are tons of tricks and tips in there. I suggest doing a search on the ptb mod. It is basically using lipton pyramid tea bags for filler. that is what I am using because i got tired of constantly having to adjust the polyfill. So yeah, just go browse around in the cart modding forum. Have fun! I hope this helps!

I also have moved to the PTB filler. I have gone so far as to discard the poly from all my carts and set them up with the bags. I find they make it easier for me to maintain liquid levels and not flood my atty.

In the end it is all about finding what works well for you.
