Dripping
Hi...I have been using my black mini (from puresmoker.com) and I'm pleased with it; although I don't have anything else to compare it to yet. I like the e-liquid and I want to clarify how to drip. Does it matter if you drip it into the tip containing the little nicotine-soaked cotton...or directly into the atomizer?
Thanks,
raingirl

i prefer to drip into the cart with the cotton just enough till it looks moist but not forming a puddle

You can do either, but I agree with Shawn.. On a 901, I prefer to drip into the cartridge vs. the atomizer. It seems to work better that way.
On my Jr. I drip into the atomizer, and that works great, because the cartridge is not easily accessible..
It is all a matter of preference, but I think that I heard something on the forum a short while ago about possible damage to a 901 if you drip into the atomizer itself.. something about the liquid leaking past the seals and into the battery. Can anyone confirm this?

I use the penstyle from Puresmoker and a Janty Kissbox. Sometimes it does matter. Some juices are thinner and can cause problems with the battery if dripped directly. Best to just top off the cart.

i pretty much only drip 901s,and have done for quite a long while...ive never ever had leakage into the battery...but i have had a lot of leakage and batteries messed up through dripping penstyles...
901s draw air through the hole in the side of the atomiser casing...otherwise its pretty tightly sealed...
pens draw air through the bottom of the atomiser...
in my experience the 901 is less likely to leak into the battery when dripsmoking than penstyles...

I will confirm this. The penstyles are bad about getting liquid into the battery with dripping...but man oh man is it good when it works right!
It takes a bit of time to get it right but with the penstyle you can get excellent vapor by dripping. I drip direct to the atomizer with mine (note - I killed 2 batteries in the learning curve process...hehe) and love it. I've found that 3 drops is perfect unless you've just washed it out in which case 4 will be needed. I rarely evern drip with my mini. Just doesn't seem to have much more effect on it than topping off the cartridge does. Now, this could also be because my batteries are weak right now from long term use and need to be replaced.

will the atomizer fail early when dripping?
i think i read that somewhere.
