Default A few basic questions on E-smoke. Thanks

I've been smoking on average 15 cigarettes a day for a year now and lung cancer scares me so I really want to try E cigarettes from now on. Before I saw this forum, I've already ordered a NJoy NPro.

This forum made me interested in a few products from Puresmoker.com. My questions are:

    1. I've been smoking regular Camels and I REALLY enjoy the lightheaded feeling you get from that first cigarette of the day. Does E cigarette provide the same kind of feeling?

    2. By reading this forum, it seems the NPro is basically the same as the Pee Wee from Puresmoker.com. Is that true?

    3. If the answer to questions 2 is true, does that mean I can use the Pee Wee cartridges for my NPro?

    4. How does the NPro/Pee Wee compare to the Pocket Mini DSE901? What are some advantages of each?

    5. I saw some eJuice on Puresmoker.com. Are those necessary if I want to replicate the strength/lightheadedness I get from Camel or will the "high" cartridges be sufficient?

Five questions. Someone please help answer a few of them for me. I appreciate it.

Again, congrats to us for discovering E cigarettes. Thanks

teh pee wee is the exact same as the npro. teh pocket mini is the 901. the juice is way cheaper to refill carts then to purchase carts filled seperately. i prefer the 901 but everyone has their own taste on size etc..

Some people say the higher strengths give you a head rush, I've never found even 36mg to do that but I have a huge natural tolerance to drugs anyway. Real cigs never got me light headed and I smoked Marlboro reds.

What I found is that as soon as you start using these things (mine anyway) that you just forget about reals cigs. Maybe I'm a lucky one.

Welcome aboard dude. If you don't get on with the njoy I would definitely reccommend the mini. E-smoking takes a bit of getting used so take the time to get it right and don't be put off by a bad first experience. If you are like me and absolutley need the nicotine then these things are life savers.

Expansion of Bob's answer. I suspect that the lightheadedness is actually the effect of brain anoxia caused by the carbon monoxide in hot cigs. Vaping does not replicate this.

i agree emp. the only thing u can get close to that would be a little bit of a nic high if u puff enough or use some strong liq.

As an NPRO owner, and having tried a DSE901 that a friend has, I can give you a few pros and cons of each.

As indicated, the PeeWee and the NPRO are the same device, so please, please, PLEASE don't make the mistake I did and blow 40 bucks on 20 carts. Order replacements from somewhere cheaper.

Give the NPRO a fair shot. A lot of people have had problems with the device, but I've been happily vaping away. Give it at least a week (the warranty will definitely cover you), because there's always a break-in period with a new device.

As for the morning buzz, I've been having an analog every morning, but plan to try and go all e pretty soon. At the very least, I'm down from 15 cigs a day to about 2.

As far as the distinct advantages and disadvantages of each device:
    NPROS:
*looks and feels more like a real cigarette (this is still important to me, though other people on the forum seem like they'd just as happily get their nic fix from any convenient household appliance)
*just a 2-point sample, but I have had the same NPRO atomizer for a month, and my friend with the DSE-901 has gone through three (people seem to have about the same amount of problems with both)
*I like the recessed atomizer in the NPRO, I think it might be harder to break through brute mistreatment
*Smooth, easy draw (901 seems about the same in this category)
*Smaller (by about 3/4 inch, I'd say)
    NCONS:
*The 901 is generally cheaper, replacement parts are standard and easily available from a wider variety of sites
*People use the 901 more on this forum, so you're more likely to find people who can help with technical problems (the NPRO or RN4081 is also fairly widely owned, if not as popular)
*People won't make fun of you for having a "PeeWee"
*The DSE has more colors and styles available; the only variety of RN4081s I've seen is on NJOY, and they're wicked expensive.
*I believe the NPRO cartridges are smaller, and people are unhappy with the battery life (it generally lasts me through an 8-hour work day)

In the end, it seems like both are manufactured at the same factory: The DSE my friend got from Puresmoker had the serial number that confirmed that it was made by First Union rather than Sailebao (don't know where that thread is, but it clears it up)

That's all I can think of, but either device should be pretty decent for your purposes, and I'd recommend either as a starting point. Another one to consider would be the M401, which I've recently purchased from litecigusa.com. A bit longer than the PeeWee, not as long as the DSE901, with devastating styling and a lighter feel (the only e-cig I feel more or less comfortable holding in my mouth)

    Annnyway, hope this helps.
