The things you wish you had known before your initial e-cig investment? in The E-Cigarette; btw - Jane's- I haven't tried any yet, but I have read a few comments here, somewhere... might try searching ...

btw - Jane's- I haven't tried any yet, but I have read a few comments here, somewhere... might try searching "great white" or Jane's + titanium or Jane's + atomizer? dunno, just some offhand search ideas. Also I am pretty sure that "Smokeless Shop" also carries Jane's pens...

Would like to have known ecigs are in no way designed for heavy smokers. Fortunately I found this forum before I ordered, so I knew they were disposable(do any companies clearly state that their products need to be replaced often? Njoy doesn't even sell loose atomizers, ha wtf?) but I thought they'd last 2-4 weeks.

Seems most people on the forum aren't/weren't heavy smokers, cause I have only been vaping for 2 weeks-one dead atomizer(not dead, but useless to me), 2 of my batteries have noticeably declined already. I do not think I had faulty product, and I took very good care of these things.

There is no going back to cigarettes though, which Im excited about. No regrets on some of the money I have wasted, haha, just an initial cost/research investment. Once I find what I like, and get a solid routine down, I'll be happier.

i wish i would have known that some people are allergic to pg. The pg made me sick. i ordered a bunch of stuff from cash and he kindly returned my money since it was postally sealed. i then tried vg and theres no going back. kudos to cash and this forum.

I have both penstyle and 901 from puresmoker. I have been using the penstyle for two weeks and the 901 for a little over a day. I am still not sure which one a like more because I like the 901 is lighter and I can hold it easier but the battery last less time and I have to top off the cartridge more frequently, like you said every 5-10 minutes. I actually thought it was that I wasn’t vaping the 901 properly but now that you mention how frequent you have to add more liquid I’d say it’s just the model.
As far as vapor I don’t see much difference between the two but I do think the penstyle is more consistent but maybe my 901 needs to brake in.
I don’t know about NJOY but if you like the 901 from puresmoker you probably would like the penstyle from him as well.

I just wish I'd heard about them earlier.

I had just come back from a trip to Kenya absolutely LOADED with Duty Frees

If I hadn't bought the Duty Frees, I'd probably be a non-smoker by now, but they are just too tempting. Having said that, I'm only smoking about a quarter of what I usually smoke so I'm heading towards total e-cig conversion in the New Year.

well i thought NJOY had a guarantee, and would replace? have you tried that?
since you say you are trying to find what you like, what is the next one you are going to try out?

My first was Njoy, because a friend had one and I decided to try it. Before that I had the non-electronic Aeros. Those worked great for when I couldn't smoke, but did not satisfy my habit (iow, I continued to smoke). I have different brands on the way (epuffer, puresmoker). I got 2 starter kits, pen style from Njoy, and the first I bought crapped out very quickly. Tried the NPRO (purchased from Target) that went almost immediately. Luckily I was able to return that to the store for a full refund.

Good news, I did quit smoking with Njoy, I haven't had a cig for about a month. And I have no desire for regular cigs either (amazing after 32 years of smoking). The bad news is how much I spent on the Njoy and I expected it to last longer (much longer). My second is still working so that is something. Wish I would have found this forum sooner. I am very happy that there is such a thing as e-smoking, and even though I am spending looking for my best product, certainly it is a saving in the end to be smoke free.

Thanks to all here, I have spent quite some time reading and learning!

if you have never tried a pen before i would almost certainly get a generic first.
The only branded pen type i would think of buying would be the Janty , but thats just for the manual switch.

but my experiences with the generic pens are all good . I couldn't justify the cost of an Njoy over a generic.

If puresmoker does the black RN4072 i would go for that over the white version. I don't know why but mine outperforms the white ones, seems to be the case with a few others as well.

Go generic first..then if you really feel the need and want that warranty go branded. But i bet you'll be more than happy with the generic pen. your just paying for the guarentee with njoy i reckon, never had one so wouldn't like to compare performance wise. My black generic outperforms with taste and volumes every other device i have and that includes the screwdriver, 901,bling and super-mini.
