Manual batteries are the best IMO. Feel free to jump on our forum and ask questions - lots of happy people there! Vapor4Life - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

Hey! I have a lot of comments about juice because I have tried many many flavors and types. Also... get a usb passthru... the best thing for the 510 (mine's manual of course)

Ok depending on what kind of flavors you will actually like, I can break it down to a few suppliers.

1. Tobacco-Flavors: 555 and RY4 are my favorites, but Johnson's creek original tobacco is not bad. I love the consistency of the 555 from myvaporstore and the tabac flavor from cigtechs. Out of all the eastmall flavors (I dislike their liquid, the RY4 was tolerable) Ecigsmokestore also has a good variety of tobacco flavors and she hand mixes them herself.

2. Fruit Flavors-The only ones I have liked are the grape from ecigsmokestore (it is very very purple and stains your clothes so be careful) and the peach from johnson's creek

3. Coffee- Johnson's creek had a delicious kona coffee flavor that they discontinued... I haven't tried their other coffee flavor yet. Eastmall coffee and cappacino is good from what my mother says, but I am not enthralled yet.

4. Mint-Ok a lot of options here. There are menthol ones, mint ones, doublemint (like the gum) etc.. I like Johnson's creek, cigtechs, nuvape etc.. they are all decent (even eastmall's) but the original menthol we got from myvaporstore produced the best taste and plume of smoke.

5. Other flavors- I am not liking any melon or watermelon. The chemical taste and smell is always there and not covered up. I didn't care for the cola flavors or any of the other unique ones. Johnson's creek seemed to have some pretty good ideas on things like chocolate (which was pretty good I have to admit) and vanilla type flavors.

Taste is subjective but I hope I have given you some ideas. (ecigsmokestore had wonderful flavors but it seemed to have clogged atty so make sure you clean them out regularly)

The cartomizer idea doesn't seem like a good idea at all, mainly because of the cost.

battery death seems to happen on about 1 or 2 out of 5 batteries that I buy... luck of the draw I guess.

Good Luck

In my opinion, the more little stuff you buy...the more frustrated you will become, and the more money you will waste. (said he knowingly).

I have 11 friends who started vaping last month. All the ones who got a 510 started kit are now back on analogs.

All the ones that purchased a prodigy Passthrough, and a 5 volt power pack, are off analogs.

You need to buy serious equipment if you want to vape seriously. I have never tried blu, but an ordinary 510, with a small battery does not do the trick for me. I would vape that battery dry in a few minutes.

When i saw blu...it just made me think of a someone who had thought of marketing a 510, that's all.

I agree that Nhaler are amazing juices...but you need the hardware to support a good juice as well.

As you vape on, you will realize that the battery and the voltage you vape at, are the most important things by far.
Then the atty..
Then what you like to hold in your hand, or not.

But you save on dead attys, not to mention the cleaning and blowing and dripping and topping off carts. The cartomizers are killer - I love em. And about the batteries - I have gotten a total of 3 passthroughs (1 auto, 2 manual) 6 manual batteries, 6 auto batteries, 5 PCC Kits, 2 extra long batteries and not one of them has been bad. Not one! (4 of them I gave away to friends and family as gifts, and I charged and tested them all before I gave them away)

And the thing is, if one had been bad, Steve would have replaced it no questions asked! How do I know? One person on our forum had a bad battery and Steve had one sent out to him the next day.

I have also never gotten a bad cartomizer - I know it happens but so far not to me. Steve always throws a few extra carts in with each order, and even then would replace them if one was bad. He is the bomb! You just can't find many vendors like him around!

I guess that is why we are all so happy there! lol

The passthroughs from V4L do not have the inline battery, so you get power directly from your USB in the computer. It is a beast! I would put it up against any Mod out there. And the new extra long batteries are extremely powerful - almost as much so as the passthrough. Really an awesome experience! But for on the go, the manual batteries can't be beat, very consistant taste and throat hit. When I got mine, I took a puff and was like Ohhhhh yeah!
