Default 'Classic' Penstyle atomizer - gurgling...

Hiya, I received my classic/ penstyle a few days ago and on the whole I'm happy with it (if I connect the right battery to the right atomizer) but I have a bit of a problem with it.

One of the atomizers sound as though it's gurgling/ I'm slurping through a staw when I use it. It's quite off putting, even using it at home on my own, nevermind trying to use it discretely [chance woud be a fine thing lol] on the bus.

It honestly sounds like someone slurping a milkshake.

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or do I write it off as a 'dud'?

    Lou x

Wouldn't write it off. It sounds as if there is a bit too much liquid in it, try taking it off, remove the cart, hold a tissue to the base and gently blow through it. You might find the liquid comes out onto the tissue and the gurgling reduces.

You may have too much e-liquid inside. Disconnect from the battery - turn the atomizer upside down and blow into it (make sure you have a tissue on the other side to catch any liquid that may come out. Do this a couple of times - reconnect to battery and put only the mouthpiece back on - smoke until the vapor diminishes a little - insert cart and try smoking it.

    Pete, you're a wee gem.

Just tried this and it's worked wonders, the 'milkshake suck' has dissapeared.

Goody, that's sorted the Glasgow - Inverness bus journey malarky out, no more waiting at Perth for a connecting bus in order to get ma fix.

Sorry, you guys [Shawn & dnakr] must have posted when I was replying to Pete.

Seems to be working now, so I'm as happy as larry.

    Thanks to all.

Dnakr, I just tried your suggestion cause I know I overload with ejuice too often..(topping every 10 min., sides of cart always wet when pull out of atomizer)
I got huge vapor when smoked it with the mouthpiece only! Did it a few times like you said and when I put the cart back in, I got a far better draw right away and no gurgling! what a difference! Would too much liquid also make a very hard draw?

maybe this could also explain why my last 2 atomizers seems to have gone down way too early (being too wet & I assumed almost dead so chucked them?)

Also worried about all the warnings about smoking a dry atomizer.. if smoke a dry atomizer do we also get vapor? How do I know whether all that vapor was from too wet atomizer ? just want to be careful..
