Couple of Questions

Hey,

I'm new to the hole e-cig thing, I just ordered one and have a few questions about the catridges:

I'm smoking a pack of Lucky Strike a day so wich nicotine strength i need? Is High too much?

And whats about refilling catridges, do i need special catridges or can i just use the normal ones? How much ml goes into one catridge?

Hi Rex, welcome to the forum.

The most sensible thing with nicotine I think is to start low and if it doesn't satisfy work up to the next level.

You can refill your cartridges, you don't need to buy dry ones.

A classic cartridge holds around 0.8-1ml
A mini cartridge holds around 0.3-0.5ml

Most people vape around 2ml per day.

Hi Rex , welcome aboard.

I cant help with the lucky strike question cause i have no idea how strong they are but would suggest starting off with HIGH strength ( 18mg ). It's easier to come down a peg or to and theres nothing worse than not getting your hit when you first start.

As for refilling carts, you can re-use your used ones , no need to buy blank ones.

I would go with kate's advice if you also have a few High carts about.

I think if you only have low or medium juice available to you and it doesnt hit the spot it can be very frustrating. plus then you gotta wait for the higher strength stuff to arrive, so what do you do in the meantime......back on the smokes...

I smoked Golden Virginia rolling tobacco when i lit up and found the 18mg ( High ) standard carts adequate for the job.

It is a really tricky question to answer, everyone has different needs. You're right Apo, 18mg is likely far better than a cig. On the other hand some people start off with too much nic and become tolerant. Some people don't crave nic either but would miss the other additives in cigs or the hand to mouth smoking action.

Giving advice on this is a bit of a dilemma, it's easier to point people in the direction of further reading so they can work it out themselves.

yup your right Kate , it all depends on the users needs and is a trial and error process

Just a quick note. If Rex is in the US, the only Lucky Strikes available anymore are unfiltered, and WILL knock a normal smoker on his ass (I only smoked them on my birthday). So, I think the 'start high' advice may be better in this specific case, but I would definitely not go above 18mg in any case unless you smoke 3+ packs per day.

I'm from germany so we have filtered normal red luckies.

I will try the High ones and see if i can get some refills with flavours.
