Question 901 battery question

Have this battery here..first day out of the kit box from PS & it just up & died today,no blue glow & wont take charge, the light on the charger stays green, other battery is fine & charges OK.

Just wondering how high the fail rate for these batteries is.

Extremely high. This is why its important to go through reliable suppliers with ecigs and buy extras.. But even then, you could still get a dud. Tell your supplier and he might give you a refund. Oh PS will give you a refund.

I use to put a failure rate at about 5-7% ... This included DOA's, stuck switches, etc...

Then about a month ago, I put the failure rate at about 10-12% ... Noticed a large increase in DOA's.

Recently, over the past 2-3 weeks, I would say closer to 15-20%. Catching them all before they leave here isn't easy.

Demand for product in today's market is VERY high compared to where it was at 4 or even 5-6 months ago. I remember my very first order in July. No DOA's period ... those were the days ....

Its all about Chinese factories pumping out as many as they can as fast as they can. To complicate things further, the holidays are coming which now puts time constraints on things ...

Just make sure to always check your gear when you get it ...

Do you think it has anything to do with the new switch design on the batteries Cash ?

Like trog was pointing out about the 3 second cut off rather than 5 and the different kind of pressure switch ..
