    Default Truckin

    What would be needed to vape 510 on the road several days at a time? I mean to keep charged. What kind of chargers, etc. Would iphone usb work, or any usb, or are these special usb's 4 e-cig batts? Also would a pcc be helpful for this and if so, how are those things charged up? Just trying 2 figure out what all to purchase with the 501. Thanks for any advice!

    buy a usb passthrough and a usb car adapter, then you just vape straight from your vehicle battery

    Im in my work vehicle all day. I found it easy to just buy a power inverter and use your regular charger. I got mine for $35 and i can use it for laptop/cell phone/Etc...

    If you already have the iphone car charger, it works just dandy with a usb pass through!
    With a pcc, you charge it fully, then it will charge the batt 5 times. Hope this helps.

    Watch those iphone chargers. Many of them don't supply the power to drive a passthrough.
    Any 12v or 110v to USB adapter needs to provide 5v @ 1amp output to drive a PT.
    ipod & iphone accessories don't have the guts to drive other types of devices.

    Howdy Dinky;
    I travel extensively, but unlike you, I travel by air and then drive to my job site. I have a lot of mileage logged in rental cars, so my devices are a bit more portable so they can be moved from car to car.

    I suggest;
    a passthrough, with a 12v to USB adapter.
    USB powered battery charger in addition to a 110v charger.
    A crapload of filled carts, so you can change them during the trip. (Dripping, or refilling carts at 70mph is not recommended.)

    You can vape all day with the PT, and have your batts on the charger. Since you're going to rely on a PT while driving, I would also suggest you have two or three passthroughs in case one goes bad in the middle of nowhere.

    Different approach.... 3 801 with full carts and full manual batteries.... is (for me) about the equivalent of 1 pack of cigarettes .... and that used to be 6-7 hours driving speak about stinky car ......

    Anyway, this way you don;t have to deal with cables, power packs etc. etc. you just pull the next one out and vape away.....

    Just my $0.02, of course.
