Smile Hi, intro an my nuby comments

    Hi everyone
Just wanted to say hi, introduce myself and give my initial impressions of this vaping thing...

I am a secret smoker... Have been smoking on and off for 17 years. Wow, can't believe it's been that long... To make a long story short, I quit smoking during my last pregnancy to my husband's great approval. He hates me smoking... After maternity leave, I went back to work and within a couple of weeks, I was back to smoking. Secretly... Even from the people at work. Which leads to a lot of just going for a drive and smoking somewhere where I won't be seen and a LOT of mint eating... My husband did catch me out and he really wants me to quit... But I don't want to... So I have carried on secretly smoking. So in my situation, vaping provides a lot of added benefits. I can vape in the loo instead of going for a drive, I don't have to worry about smelling, to name just a few added benefits.

I'm located in New Zealand, which has a whole different set of constraints in terms of buying kits, parts, etc. A couple of the US based sites don't ship to New Zealand... So I had to look at UK or Chinese suppliers. After looking around and getting confused and frustrated, I decided to just pick one. I picked the Nucig, which is a mini and I'm not sure what other codes it's known as.

For the live of me I haven't been able to get the Nucig to work with the supplied cartridges, or the spares I bought. The ones that came with the kit, look different from the cartridges and I don't get any vapor from them at all. The cartridges, I can't figure out which way they go and I either can't draw or end up with a mouth full of liquid. So I have been forced into dripping. Which works well, but it's such a pain doing that each time...

Like almost everyone I quickly decided I want to try another model as well. I ordered a BE112 from best ecig in the hope that I'll get longer battery life, more vapor and can actually use the cartridges instead of dripping every time... I am waiting impatiently, should be here before the weekend.

So far, I've managed to only have 2 half analogues. One because my battery ran out and the once because I just had to have one... I bought low dose eliquid and think I might need something stronger, so I ordered medium juice with my BE112.

Well, that's probably enough for now.

    Welcome & congrats!

The BE112 from bestecig has a VERY good battery life, I had an 11+ hour day yesterday and used only 3 batteries...HEAVY use @ work and the last one had power to spare....

So, you should be fine. Look into manual batteries, IMHO much better hit and control than the auto batt. Available from (e.g.) Rocky mountain Vapor

Yes, you will have to xperimet a bit what strength is best for you, I started with 24mg went to 12 and 8 then to 48 now I'm at 36 and 12 .... I guess it varies a bit

The BE112 is an excellent choice for cartridge use. I just received my atomizers yesterday and the first one is working very well. I'm also using the Best E-Cig cartridges, which have a hard plastic tip.

Heavens Gifts has 801 manual batteries, which will fit BE112 atomizers. I have no experience with their working life however. I have heard that you need to be careful not to push the button too deeply into the battery casing since it may become stuck there.

Totally Wicked UK has good Virginia flavor e-liquid. I've found that the Virginia is relatively milder when using the stronger liquids, such as 36mg.

    Welcome to the forums.

I figured out where you're from as soon as you used the word "loo".

I don't know anything about international vendors, and I've never heard of a "BE112." I bet some of our experts will chime in.

This site also has a section for model specific questions. You'll probably find some experts in your model there.

I agree with the other replies. You'll have to see what nicotine level is best for you.

I'm using "Virginia" 24mg right now actually. Its a nice mix of tobacco and smokey flavor. Its mild and smooth. My favorite is "Marlboro" 24mg. Marlboro is smokier, heavier, and a little bit sweet.

    lol... was it that obvious...

I think think the BE112 is like an 801... It's a pen style...

I'll definitely check out those links and thanks for making me feel welcome.

Still waiting... Hope it's here before the weekend!

We're almost on the same boat sonnetjie. I was a secret smoker for a bit, then said, hell with it and smoked around everyone and everything. Problem is, I'm not in any interest to quit just yet, and most guys i'm around hate the smell of my ashtray smelling hair! argh!

I hope to buy something tonight from many of the suggestions of stores and stuff. So far, I've narrowed down which one I want, which is the joye and hope to get this from anycig.com, since they have the lowest prices and free shipping - but there shipping is forever and to track it shipping has to be over 20 days. I've looked around from vaporkings.com and vaporstix.com to nhaler.com and innovapor.com, but one's really caught my attention. Hopefully, i'll find something tonight.

Well, I got my BE112 and it's great! The battery lasted the whole day, the cartridge lasted the whole day! Great vapour and taste. I am so impressed. A bit harder draw and my one battery seems to have a mind of it's own, but it's so nice not having to drip every 5 draws. I am busy ordering two manual batteries as we speak and hopefully I'll have a more consistent vape.

Good Luck with the new one!
Your post took me back to when I worked corporate and was secretly smoking also!
Happened to be working in a company that had a bad attitude toward smokers

Its so stressful trying to hide the smell etc..
I wish e cigs were around for me back then.

Wishing you all the best luck, this should be awesome for your situation
