Guys, which flavor is closest to real smoking? It is definitely not a tobacco flavor.

the closest to a tobacco-like flavour is Ruyan cigar carts...but i found them disgusting...id been exclusively esmoking for months before trying them... in my opinion french pipe would be the best readily available eliquid to try if you want a kind of dark, woody taste...but even its just a hint... i think its folly to compare the taste of eliquid to cigarettes and tobacco...burning plant v vapourised liquid...its not a like comparison... |

The problem that all flavors I’ve tried so far are quite sweet. When I was alive I use to smoke Davidoff Light. So, if could find something close it would be nice.

Hmm.. Yeah, I found french pipe to taste realistic, but at the same time, kind of like wood chips.. It really is hard to find a comparable flavor. One is a dry smoke, and the other a moist vapor...

I just got my e cigarette yesterday. I like the idea of it, but the chemical taste is not to my liking...I am wondering if any flavor is better than tobacco 0 nicotine? I have been smoking 0 nicoine cigerettes (Quest) and I was hoping the e cigarette would be my answer to stop real oones and move into this placebo. Anyone have a suggestion on what flavor to try or is the underlying chemical taste in all of them? |

The flavours you get thrown in with the device tend not to be the nicest. Can't really advise you on which flavours you'll like but getting bottles of liquid should be a more pleasant experience for you. Unfortunately I don't think you have quite as large a range to choose from with zero nic juice. Edit: For what it's worth I really like Virginia. It tastes like sweet tobacco to me. |

I've tried quite a few finding trying to find any sort of non-sweet non-fruity flavor. While they don't taste quite like burnt tobacco, I can recommend: puresmoker's camel litecigusa's camel, orient, cigar I tend to mix camel and orient, but I'm waiting to get some cigar next time I order, I might add that to my 'blend' Please note that I mean less sweet. PG is always going to be a little sweet. |

| In another post on this site, I saw something about the cleaning process changing the taste. I think that's what happened. It tasted fine when I first used it and then the tip flashed and I felt a bit of liquid on my tongue and the taste of the smoke changed to a sweet chemical one, not pleasant at all. That person said to put warm water and shake 25 times or so and then dry the atomizer or just replace it. She said that the cleaning process does something to the taste. I am very confused as to what that means and how to stop it from happening again if I get a replacement. I need a more experienced smoker to explain please. Thanks! |

If you just started e-smoking, then that is probably not what happened. From what I understand, the cleaning process takes place after about 1500 puffs.. and you should be nowhere near that number yet. Basically what the cleaning process does, is heat the atomizer for a small period of time, so that all of the residue burns off of it. Where that seems like a good idea in theory, it also makes it taste horrible. If by some factory fluke that is what happened, then you can run your atomizer under hot water (let the water run through it) for a couple minutes, and then set it aside to dry thoroughly. Once you are sure it is dry, you can "prime" the atomizer by dripping ~3 drops of juice into it, and then insert your cartridges as normal. That should take care of the taste. If you don't have any e-liquid to drip, I would insert a fresh cartridge and let it sit for a minute to let the juice sink down into the atomizer a bit. There is also the possibility that you just aren't used to the taste of the PG juices yet.. Like stated earlier, your taste buds are damaged from the traditional smoke and will take a little while to heal. Once that happens, you will begin to really taste the flavors. |
