I can't seem to upload any pictures to use as my profile picture. When I go to my own profile, I see the picture. But I don't see it under my name in the thread posts. Is everyone's like this? Can anyone see my picture, or is it just me who can't see it?

You need to go to edit avatar under settings & options in your control panel. The picture under you name in posts is your avatar, not your profile pic.

No, it is not me. However, I am Asian and enjoy my wine and cigarettes! I don't know yet many people post their actual pictures on this forum. I haven't seen many (and I will take a wild guess that you are not a nun), if any. And thus, I found an image that superficially represents me.
