Default Toting around and storage advice

What a plethora of info here!
I have not seen this mentioned. I have a 510 w/PCC kit coming and I was wondering if need to pick up some kind of belt case or something for when I'm on the go. And what to grab going out the door to ensure your not left hanging due to failures, running dry or loss of equipment, say for an 8 hour trip?
Also, any tips for the end of the day storage, like keep all your carts vertical, batts in charger, top off. A typical routine per se, so I'm not scrambling around in the morning because I forgot or overlooked a important procedure.

    Thanks for any insight.

I still haven't gotten the hang of all that, Rat. I'll be interested in seeing what others do - the storage thing is a problem for me....I keep outgrowing every container, tackle box, etc. I buy to store things in. May have to dedicate a closet if I keep buying.

The only thing I do is keep a zip lock bag with me that has, juice, attys, and a paper clip. I don't care batteries because I have a mod and I get crazy battery life off it. I also work at a desk most of the day so I don't really need a Armageddon bag. When I do have a long drive to I need to visit job sites out of town I do care a back pack loaded up with goodies, but I am a good boy scout always prepared.

I started with this for carrying around my 510 and accessories:
Case Logic 6 Capacity USB Drive Shuttle > CD Organization > Case Logic

I'm going to upgrade to this to hold my Chuck and other stuff:
Case Logic Diabetic Kit > Health and Mobility > Case Logic

I bought a GPS case similar to this. What is nice is the smaller pockets can come out with a "day" kit stashed in it, while the case for a road trip can hold your passthrough, extra liquids, attys, etc. Everything is held in with Velcro and is removable and you can position them as you want.
